A wrestling show was put on today in Ardmore, as a benefit for Toys for Tots.

hundreds showed up to see the Imperial Wrestling Revolution, Sunday at Ardmore middle school- An organization that travels across Oklahoma, entertaining all ages.

"Glad to see that the community of Ardmore has come out to support us," said Chris Cambridge with IWR.

But the performance wasn't just for fun.
It was a benefit for Toys for Tots.

"this is the first year we've done it and we're hoping to make it an annual event. Why toys for tots? I mean it's pretty simple. Toys for tots helps out 2,000 kids in Carter County alone," said Jerry Bostic with IWR.

Those attending were asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation.
The donations go toward Christmas presents for under-privileged children in the area.

"I think it's very important for me personally to give back to this community, I mean, this is where i've lived my whole entire life and, you know, If you can do something special like this for people why would you not," said Bostic.

"Just a great opportunity to do some good things for some kids around the holidays and get a chance to show people what we love to do," said Cambridge.

Also at the event, former OU quarterback, Jamelle holieway, and Hall of Fame wrestler, Jim Duggan.

"This is my way to give back to whatever community, it's all about the kids and trying to uplift their spirits," said Holieway.

If you missed this wrestling tournament but would like to contribute.
We have Toys for Tots drop off locations listed on our website kxii.com.

"There's numerous drop-off locations for the toys and it's never too late, you know, we're getting close to Christmas, but every little toy counts," said Bostic.
