According to CureSearch.org, more than one million people in the United States get cancer each year. Wrestling For a Cause is a pro wrestling company helping in the fight against cancer.
WFC has held 14 benefit shows since their inception in 2012. All 14 shows either benefited a child and their family with their fight against cancer or benefited the American Cancer Society. Boasting a roster of the best and brightest wrestling talent from around Oklahoma and the surrounding states, each wrestling show is family friendly and fun for the whole family.
All of the proceeds from the ticket sales, concession sales, silent auction, merchandise sales, and private donations received go to the family for who the benefit was held.
On Saturday, January 24th WFC teams up with the Tulsa Junior Oilers of the Western States Hockey League for "Wrestling For a Cause Night" at the Oilers Ice Center in Tulsa. WFC will receive $1 from every ticket sold for the Junior Oilers vs. Wichita Junior Thunder hockey game that night. Plus, with a ticket purchase you also get free post game ice skating with the Junior Oilers players. WFC will also be selling their t-shirts and sweatshirts, have information about the company, and also have their Hometown Heroes Title and Tag Team Titles on display. WFC will have in attendance founder Tim Rockwell, Jon Cross, Los Combatientes Machos (Macho & Muy Macho), ring announcers Mike Iles and Jason Doggins, and many more.
