NEWS
Regarding Mae Young, she is still alive, but is in very weak condition, but not on life support right now. Thursday, one of her friends from when she was growing up in Oklahoma called her and she wasn't strong enough to talk, but could listen. When her friend said,"You know thousands of people are pulling for you," and she weakly said, "I know." As of noon Thursday, her condition was unchanged from late Wednesday night.

From WrestlingObserver.com posted "A note on Mae Young. Contrary to reports, Mae Young was not on life support this past week."

As announced on RAW last night, Ultimate Warrior will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this April.

After it was announced that Warrior would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, The Honky Tonk Man posted on Twitter "Warrior to HOF,,good for him. A stand up no nonsene guy. Very deserving of this honor."

Tommy Dreamer posted on Twitter "Congrats @UltimateWarrior always a cool guy to me. Drew $ in biz. His speech might be the most highly anticipated & best since Bob Backlund."

There continues to be internal discussion regarding a possible Hulk Hogan involvement at WrestleMania 30. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that ?Rowdy? Roddy Piper has pushed for an idea of a Hulk Hogan and Johh Cena vs. Piper and CM Punk WrestleMania match. However, WWE does not believe Hogan could pass a physical.

2K Tuesday announced availability of new downloadable content for WWE 2K14, the latest release in the flagship WWE video ame franchise. Featuring a selection of notable WWE Hall of Famers and more, the downloadable content offering via the Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network for the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system includes Bruno Sammartino, Jake Roberts and more.

There was a feeling backstage that Jake Roberts is lock for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame. It is unsure about Royal Rumble yet.

In late 2012, Jake ?The Snake? Roberts was at rock bottom and Diamond Dallas Page came to the rescue. Roberts vowed to get in shape and enter the Royal Rumble this year and last Monday on RAW, he came back as the biggest surprise of the night. After Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk in the main event and The Shield stood over the former WWE champion, Roberts? theme song hit and out came the WWE Legend with a bag over his shoulder. Jake ?The Snake? emptied the bag to show off his ?new and improved Damien? according to Michael Cole and just like old times, put the snake on top of a fallen Dean Ambrose as JBL screamed ?Somebody call PETA!? On his Twitter, Roberts thanked WWE and all the fans and vowed that this was not the end. ?Gonna be tough sleeping after this night,? he wrote. Jake ?The Snake? Roberts last appeared on WWE television in 1997.

On the "WWE Bottom Line" show that aired in the United Kingdom, the entire Jake Roberts segment on RAW was edited out

Speaking to WWE.com about his surprise return on RAW, Jake ?The Snake? Roberts explained how only a handful of people knew about it and it was kept secret until he hit the Gorilla position. Jake said that he flew into a different airport and he was smuggled in the backstage area and was put in one of the buses away from everyone. He spent five hours there waiting until someone told him what was going to happen. Jake said that he was taken care of and they brought him food and a number to call in case he needed something while sitting there waiting. He added that only Mark Carrano, Vince McMahon, Triple H, Diamond Dallas Page, and the person who did his travel knew about his return and met Vince just minutes before he came out to the ring. ?Honestly, I didn?t think it would ever happen?. TNA was hoping for a big ratings number on Thursday night with no football plus the long build up for Magnus vs. A. J. Styles title vs. title match. One thing for sure, if Styles is gone, TNA did the best job they could do in getting him over on the way out.

A. J. Styles participated in his last TNA match against Magnus at the show which aired this past Thursday on "Impact Wrestling", losing his TNA title to Magnus to unify the two titles. Magnus was announced as the ?new undisputed TNA heavyweight champion of the world? after the match was over as he and Dixie Carter stood over Styles with both TNA titles held high. Styles has now been removed completely from the TNA website and he won?t be appearing on TNA television anymore.

TNA announced that Wes Brisco has been released. Wes is the son of Gerald Brisco.

James Storm posted a photo on Twitter of him with Ricky Morton that said "Hanging from the rafters. Sold that sum B***h out..... @Crimson @RickyMortonSays". You can see the picture by clicking here.

Rumors that Jim Ross had been talking with Fox Sports seemed to be confirmed with Ross? 1st column on the company?s web site, a tongue in cheek story about Ric Flair & the 49ers no less, appeared last week. You can read the column by clicking here.

Ric Flair didn't attend the San Francisco 49ers vs. Carolina Panthers game this weekend. Flair had no idea how bad the reaction of fans in Charlotte and Green Bay would be to him giving the 49ers a pep talk. So he hung out in Atlanta laying low. CBSSports.com even wrote a story that Flair has received death threats.

The Charlotte Business Journal reports that Ric Flair still has an arrest warrant out for him in Mecklenburg County, NC. The warrant is for failure to pay $32,352.51 in post-separation support and legal fees to his ex-wife Jacqueline Beemes and has been out since summer of 2013. If Flair was to be taken in on the warrant, he couldn?t get out until he paid the money. Flair has a hearing for the warrant on January 24th in Charlotte, NC. That may be part of the reason Flair didn't attend this past weekend?s Carolina Panthers NFL playoff game. Flair has been living in Atlanta, GA and in Florida since his troubles last year.

A touring art exhibition in the United Kingdom features a very famous photo of Exotic Adrian Street and his coal miner father. You can view the Manchester Art Gallery's exhibits by clicking here.

Dustin Koski of Cracked.com wrote a story entitled "5 Hilariously Awkward Meltdowns Hidden on DVD Commentaries" and in the story he talks about Roddy Piper claiming the movie "The Live" was a documentary. You can read the story by clicking here.

TheRichest.com has an article listing the top 10 wealthiest pro wrestlers of all time and only one of them is in TNA. Coming in 10th place is Mick Foley with net worth of $15 million. The Undertaker is in 9th with $16 million, followed by Shawn Michaels in 8th place with $17 million, and Chris Jericho in 7th with $18 million. Kurt Angle is in 6th place with a net worth of $20 million, The Big Show is in 5th with $20 million as well, and Triple H in 4th with $25 million. The top three are John Cena with $35 million, followed by another Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin in second with $45 million, and to no surprise, The Rock tops the list with an estimated net worth of $70 million. If you are wondering where is Hulk Hogan in the list, Hogan got cleaned by his wife in a messy divorce and other lawsuits certainly didn?t help him either.
