A benefit for Prague tornado victims will be held Saturday, July 27th at the Cushing-Drumright Elk's Lodge, 707 N. Norfolk Road.
NWA Texoma and the National Wrestling Alliance are presenting LIVE pro wrestling with pro wrestlers such as "Tim Storm" and "Prince Al Farat" among the elite group at Saturday evening's event. Storm and Farat were phone-in guests of the Donna and Molly Show, Friday, July 26th.
Tim Storm has been wrestling for 20 years and Al Farat for over 27 years. Each bring their own special style to the match and have often gone head to head. Storm, a noted "good guy," said wrestling is his passion and being able to help others by doing what he loves is definitely rewarding. Farat, a native New Yorker and "bad guy," married an "Oklahoma girl" who has ties in the area. "We are proud to be able to help the tornado victims in my wife's home state," Farat told listeners.
It was still to be determined whether Storm and Farat will be opponents Saturday night, but the event should definitely prove to be entertaining.
Doors open at 4 p.m. Bell at 5 p.m. General admission is $10 and kids 5 and under get in free. Proceeds to benefit Prague, Oklahoma tornado victims.
