NWA-Universal to cease operations
Posted: Sep 22nd 2005 By: oklastaff
Effective September 19, 2005, NWA Universal will no longer continue to operate shows both live and on television. The owners announce this as the national touring and network TV schedules expand, with the touring division being the foundation of the owners company and the television opportunities being an area the company has been branching out to, this being outside pro wrestling. We would like to say thanks to our former staff, our great roster, the Muskogee Civic Center and crew, Bells Amusement Park and staff, the Radisson Airport Tulsa, WB19 and to all of those who worked ! with us over the past 2 years. MOST IMPORTANT to the fans of NWA Universal and NWA Oklahoma who have helped us build from 50 to 500, we will miss you but it is time to move on! We would also like to thank the great NWA and it?s members and the Jarretts with TNA, good luck with the Spike deal, we know TNA is on it?s way to greatness!
Thank You,
The Staff/Owners
NWA Universal/Oklahoma
