Umanosuke Ueda, whose real name is Yuji Ueda is on the Died on the morning of December 21. As one of the great heels of the early days of the Japanese wrestling, Ueda was born in the annals of Puroresu on 20/06/1940. Ueda made his debut at the age of 21 years and led off his ring name of the samurai history.

Particularly well known by his tag team with Tiger Jeet Singh, they terrorized the wrestling scene in the 70s and 80s.

Since the mid-60s, Ueda was also continued in the U.S., where he was wrestled as Professor Ito, winning Regional Singles and tag team titles. His greatest success was in Japan, he celebrated with twice winning the NWA International Tag Team Titles, which later became part of the AJPW World Tag Team title.

After his wrestling career Ueda was active in film and television. Most likely to recall his association with the popular game show Takeshi's Castle, where he worked took as a sumo wrestler against the candidates.

In 1996, Ueda was involved in a serious car accident that almost cost him his life. The accident in which he was thrown through the windshield on the road. He survived only because of his muscular body stature, which he owed his wrestling career. However, he suffered a serious injury to the spine, which is why Ueda was now confined to a wheelchair.

On 16.04.1998 Ueda celebrated the end of his official career Ueda. Then he moved to Usuki City, Oita, in the hometown of his wife, where he headed the thrift shop of the family. Ueda was active in and around wrestling until the end. At shows in his town, he often visited as a spectator and even lent his ring name, even in late summer 2009 to the FTO Indy Wrestler Vinnie.
