WWE Legend & Hall of Fame Member Coming to Wellington Kansas

Kansas Championship Wrestling has announced that they are bringing a member of the WWE Hall of Fame and a true wrestling legend to their next show.
Greg ?The Hammer? Valentine will be appearing at the next Kansas Championship Wrestling show on Saturday night September 10th 2011 at Memorial Auditorium in Wellington Kansas. ?The Hammer? will be teaming up with ?Sledge? to take on the KCW Tag Team Champion ?Extremists? consisting of ?Killer? Karl Krueger and ?The Irish Nightmare? Devan Scott.
?We are thrilled to welcome ?The Hammer? to Wellington Kansas on September 10th? KCW owner Lucas Hershberger said in a statement. He added ?I grew up watching Greg on television on a weekly basis. It is a true honor and privilege to work with him and to welcome him to Kansas Championship Wrestling.?
Valentine began his wrestling career in the early 70?s and he has worked for the National Wrestling Alliance, World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the World Wrestling Federation (currently known as WWE). Valentine is a former WCW United States Tag Team Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion. He has also preformed at several WrestleMania events and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.
Independent wrestlers will also have a unique opportunity to spend some quality one-on-one time with The Hammer as he will be hosting a special seminar on the afternoon of the 10th to tell stories of his adventures on the road and work with up and coming talent to help them master their in-ring work. Availability of the seminar is extremely limited and the cost is $40. Admission to the seminar also grants that person admission into that night?s KCW event. Seminar admission will be by invitation only and anyone who would like to be considered should send an E-Mail to Lucas@kcwrestling.com for further details.
Tickets for KCW?s event featuring Greg ?The Hammer? Valentine are currently on sale at www.kcwrestling.com Advance tickets are $9 for adults (13+), $5 for children (5 ? 12) and children 4 & under are free. On the day of the show adult ticket prices will increase to $12 and children tickets will be $6.
