-Shane Douglas: "With the death of Sir Oliver Humperdink, a small bit of our business died too. ?Hump? was, perhaps, the greatest manager in the history of professional wrestling! Period!!! He truly was one of the pioneers that blazed the path that ALL later managers would follow! ?Ollie? was a great talker who could ?sell a house? w his mike work alone. He was always generous w tips and feedback to the younger talent in the locker room- including me! As a mainstay talent in the now legendary Florida territory, run by Eddie Graham, ?Hump? was a tried AND tested talent, par nonchalance! Simply put, he was in a class all his own! Rest in peace ?Hump?! The hereafter just got a hell of a lot more entertaining!?

-Jim Ross: "My old friend Sir Oliver Humperdink aka John Sutton passed away last nite @ age 62. Hump was a star mgr in 70s. Our Condolences."

-Rikishi: RIP SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK ,,, Thank U being SST?s Manager @ one time in NWA Alanta,A GOOD HUMBLE MAN
