He truly was one of the pioneers that blazed the path that ALL later managers would follow! ?Ollie? was a great talker who could ?sell a house? w his mike work alone. He was always generous w tips and feedback to the younger talent in the locker room- including me! As a mainstay talent in the now legendary Florida territory, run by Eddie Graham, ?Hump? was a tried AND tested talent, par nonchalance! Simply put, he was in a class all his own! Rest in peace ?Hump?! The hereafter just got a hell of a lot more entertaining!?
-Jim Ross: "My old friend Sir Oliver Humperdink aka John Sutton passed away last nite @ age 62. Hump was a star mgr in 70s. Our Condolences."
-Rikishi: RIP SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK ,,, Thank U being SST?s Manager @ one time in NWA Alanta,A GOOD HUMBLE MAN
