New Texas Outlaws target NWA Universal for branding!

The New Texas Outlaws continue to wreak havoc in every federation they have competed in since Renegade and Bernard Funk joined forces many moons ago. NWA Universal obviously will be no exception.
It all started innocently enough when Renegade competed in Ponca City for NWA Universal in a Four Corners, Four Poles, Four Weapons Match. He was a late addition due to Dexter Hardaway?s failure to appear for a mandatory title defense, which led to Dexter being subsequently stripped of the title. Renegade then returned to Steel Rage Pro Wrestling to team with Bernard Funk in the Tag Team Title Tournament. Following their loss in the tournament, Renegade reappeared in NWA-U with "Bonecrusher" Bobby Burns and the new masked man, The Oklahoma Outlaw. Following a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match, The Oklahoma Outlaw removed his mask and was revealed as Bernard Funk. The reign of terror of NTO was just beginning. However, following the Muskogee event, "Bonecrusher" Bobby Burns elected not to join his NTO brethren in NWA-U.
At the Chris Candido Cup Tournament in Tahlequah on July 22nd, no member of NTO was entered, but they made their presence felt. Following Brandon Groom?s first round loss to NWA World Tag Team Champion Andy Douglas, NTO attacked Groom whipping him several times with Renegade?s leather strap. As they were leaving the ringside area, Funk blew a kiss to Summer Rain, Groom?s valet. Later in the evening, while NWA Universal President Christopher Fox was interviewing NWA Oklahoma Heavyweight Champion John O?Malley, NTO showed up again. They asked the whereabouts of Scotty Charisma, O?Malley?s tag team partner. O?Malley said that Charisma had travel problems and wanted to know if NTO was responsible. Funk responded that they were only responsible for this...and he and Renegade attacked O?Malley. NTO whipped O?Malley with the leather strap, until Brandon Groom, with a chair in hand, made the save.
In Muskogee on July 23rd, following Summer Rain?s singing of the National Anthem, NTO came out yet again wondering where Brandon Groom was. Groom ran out to the ring and told NTO that they attacked him the night before while he was alone, but on this night he had someone watching his back. That someone was American Anarchy. NTO headed for higher ground not wanting to confront Groom and Anarchy. Later in the night, NTO lost to John O'Malley & Scotty Charisma.
With the upcoming Tag Team Title Tournament, NTO obviously has to be one of the top seeds simply due to the fact they have the most experience. Time will tell if they are successful.
