Colibri, not so super anymore

Colibri, not so super anymore

Posted: May 14th 2010 By: mikeiles

Call him El Super Colibri. Call him Brandon Walker. However, do not call him Prime Time, as Walker certainly has not proven that moniker, thus far. After unmasking in several federations throughout Oklahoma, it seems as if ?Prime Time? Brandon Walker has fallen on bad times.

After a 2009 that saw Walker win the Tornado Alley Pro (TAP) Adrenaline title, the Maximum Wrestling Alliance (MWA) Max-Division title, and the Compound Pro Tag-Team titles (with former partner, ?Broken Arrow Bad Boy? Justin Lee), Walker unmasked and has since, seemed to have gotten lost into obscurity.

At the end of 2009, Walker was ranked in the top-10 of the Oklafan Top 50, and it seemed as if 2010 that his career would reach new heights. However, 2010 has not been a great year for the former masked man. Other than being televised as one of Batista?s security guards on WWE Raw in Oklahoma City, Walker has done little, if anything in the ring this year. In fact, Walker has not competed in an Oklahoma ring in nearly two-months, and he goes into his Compound Pro grudge-match on Saturday, May 14 against former partner, Justin Lee, with some possible ring rust.

As the masked El Super Colibri, Brandon Walker seemed to be flying to new heights. Since his attitude change and unmasking, the star of the ring seems to have stalled in his career. The time to redeem himself will be this Saturday when Compound Pro emanates from McKinley Elementary School located at 6703 E. King St. in Tulsa, OK. Will Walker be able to defeat the Broken Arrow Bad Boy or will the hummingbird (English translation of Colibri) walk away with his wings clipped again.
