Posted: Apr 21st 2010 By: CMBurnham

To celebrate the launch of Titan Publishing's WWE Heroes comic series, an exclusive cover drawn by WWE legend Jerry 'The King' Lawler has been released.

This special cover, which features WWE Superstars Triple H? and Undertaker?, is available to order exclusively at the WWE.com official shop.

To many devoted fans, the name Jerry ?The King? Lawler evokes the wide array of wrestling feats that turned him into an American legend. Lawler is synonymous with wrestling, having won in excess of 140 championships during his career as well as being inducted into the WWE? Hall of Fame in 2007. Currently he is the commentating voice of WWE's ?Raw' weekly TV show.

More recently, however, Lawler has been flexing his artistic muscle and designing artwork for comics. In 2007, Lawler provided a cover for the comic book series ?Headlocked' and earlier this year teamed up with writer/director Kevin Smith, to help revitalise the iconic comic figure, ?The Green Hornet.?

Ned Hartley, editor of WWE Heroes comic, said:
?I?m absolutely thrilled to have Jerry ?The King? Lawler contributing a cover to our WWE Heroes comic. It?s been amazing to discover the not-so-hidden talents of those involved in the WWE, especially when they produce awesome art like this.?
