Bill Goldberg Says Return to Ring Possible at WrestleMania

Bill Goldberg Says Return to Ring Possible at WrestleMania

Posted: Apr 9th 2010 By: mikeiles

Just a few weeks ago, Bill Goldberg wrote on his Twitter page that he was negotiating with the WWE although that was for a merchandising deal. However, he is open to doing more that than.

During an interview with ESPN.com to promote his new series "Garage Mahal" on the DIY Network, the former WCW and WWE Champion said he would consider returning to the ring.

"At this point, it's not that I want to get back in the ring, but I have a 3?-year-old little boy, and what an experience for him to still buy an action figure with his daddy represented?"

He added, "The doors are kind of open to negotiation as far as a merchandising deal. If it leads to something else? It's a wonderful day. It's not something that I'm seeking out to do at 43 years old. But you know, Wrestlemania is next year in Atlanta.
"I've got a fairly big following in Atlanta. Is it out of the realm of possibility? I'd say no. If not, I'm totally content with the way I went out."

Interesting comments from Goldberg who had seemed against wrestling again following his time with the WWE which ended at WrestleMania XX in 2004. He would likely be a huge hit at the event with it being in Atlanta and he could leave wrestling behind him with a better taste.
