Tuesday WWE Event Breaks Tulsa Records

Tuesday's World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. Smackdown and ECW Event at the BOK Center drew the largest attendance for a WWE event ever in Tulsa with more than 10,000 fans attending.

General Manager John Bolton said, "I am thrilled at the crowds for this event and excited to see our success continue into our second year of operation. The WWE is an event that we look forward to hosting each year."

WWE has performed in Tulsa since 1987 at the Tulsa Expo Square, The Tulsa Convention Center and now at the BOK Center.

The Smackdown portion of Tuesday's show will air on Cox Channel 10, MyNetwork TV, at 7 p.m. Friday.
