Jim Ross Interview Recap From The Pain Clinic

Jim Ross joins the show and we immediately get into Oklahoma Sooner's win last night against central New York's Syracuse Orange in the NCAA Sweet 16. We talk about Oklahoma's phenom Blake Griffin. JR thinks he could be a great wrestling star.
J. R. updates us on his recent pneumonia diagnosis and how he's feeling. He's asked about what kind of work load he has this upcoming week and if he gets any enjoyment or is it all business.
We ask about the barbecue in Houston and JR plans on sampling some. He brings up our local barbecue highlight the Dinosaur Bar-b-que. This leads into our food network segment and on to a discussion of the Cracker Barrel.
J. R. talks about next week's Smackdown show and the format of it. It's going to have a few matches but also Fan Axxess footage. He's excited about it.
This leads into a question about why the Wrestlemania 25 card took so long to be solidified. J. R. said it sold over 40,000 tickets before there was even a card. J. R. talks about what he is most excited for this coming Wrestlemania weekend. He loves the card and really thinks it's not predictable.
We talk about matches on the card and what will be the main event or last match on the card. J. R. thinks this cards has multiple main events. He thinks a title match will be the last match on the card. He takes a guess which match that will be.
J. R. talks about the induction of the Von Erich family and Funks in the WWE Hall of Fame. He discusses going in as groups over individuals. This leads into who he thinks will be on the USA Hall Of Fame Special the Saturday before Wrestlemania 25.
We ask J. R. about My Network's recent change in programming philosophy and what the WWE thinks about it. JR thinks that the WWE is the anchor of the network and it should be all good.
J. R. talks about the "Rise and Fall of WCW" DVD set being produced by WWE and he talks about the focus of the new DVD set.
