ABOUT AFA THE WILD SAMOAN

Afa Anoai is one-half of the legendary tag-team ?The Wild Samoans?. Along with his brother Sika, they held twenty-one titles including being the first team to hold the WWE tag belts on three occasions. At WWE?s biggest event Wrestlemania, the Wild Samoans were crowned Hall of Famers for their thirty plus years of dedication and contributions to the sport of pro wrestling.

The Samoans are part of the wrestling family dynasty that include cousin Superfly Jimmy Snuka, sons and nephews: Headshrinker Samu, Dwayne ?The Rock? Johnson, Rosey, Umaga, Rikishi, Tonga Kid, The Black Pearl, L.A. Smooth, the late Yokozuna and WWE newest superstar Manu.

Afa created The Wild Samoan Training Center to teach young hopefuls the skill and art of pro wrestling in a safe and supervised facility. Top Rope Productions ? WXW Wrestling was later formed to take the training to the next level by allowing the up and coming stars a place to perform in front of the live crown, learning to master their craft while receiving crowd and TV exposure.

Over the years Afa has produced many of yesterday's and today?s top stars such as: the late Junkyard Dog, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sherri Martell, Michael Hayes, Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, Luna Vachon, Gangrel, Billy Kidman, Gene Snisky, Dave Bautista and many more.

Afa is also a director of Usos. A non-profit 501 C (3) foundation using wrestling as the draw to promote education and positive body, mind and spirit to our youth.

Afa?s most recent achievement is personal wrestling trainer to the actor Mickey Rourke for the soon to be released movie ?The Wrestler? to which Mr. Rourke won the Golden Globe award for Best Actor.
