Jake Roberts, Mick Foley & C. M. Punk Interview Recaps From The Pain Clinic

Jake Roberts joins the show and talks about his brand new 'shoot' DVD
called "Snake Tales". Jake felt doing it by himself was the right way to
do it. He talks about ribs and road stories from his career. He said this is
much better than the one put out by the WWE.
Jake talks about his blogs on his myspace page. he has been reviewing
WWE shows on the sight and he explains why he has been doing this.
He tries comparing guys in the WWE now who remind him of himself. He
gives his biggest pet peeve about the current wrestling shows. He dislikes
the talking and bits and commercials and less action in the ring.
Jake talks about the evolution of the current wrestling fan. He thinks
they are disrespectful nowadays. People are trained like Pavlov's dogs
to look towards the Jumbotron or the entrance ramp at certain parts of
matches.
Jake talks about his fond memories from Rochester and upstate NY.

After a brief commercial Mick Foley joins the show. We immediately
talk about his last visit to the show. We start talking about Mick's
return to the ring at TNA's Genesis. Too many bad Phil Collins puns
later Mick talks about the UFC Troops show he appeared on.
Mick talks about meeting some UFC fighters and seeing Brock Lesnar
after 4 years.
Mick talks about the proposed Spike TV show in the works. He hopes
it works out. He talked about pitching projects the last 6 years to TV
heads and it has become a yearly ritual for him. He talks about filming
a reality show pilot for A&E and them passing on it. He's kind of happy
it didn't get picked up.
He talked about pitching Tietam Brown to movie studios. Mick talks
about the movie "The Wrestler". He reviewed the movie at slate.com
and said it was great. He hopes it get's all the attention it deserves.
This leads us to talking about Marissa Tomei's nude scenes.
Mick talks about leaving WWE and said it was his problems with Vince
were the real only reason he left. He thinks it worked out for everyone
very well. He's very happy at TNA.
We ask Mick to compare the shoe throw at President Bush or the JBL-
Joey Styles throw down. Mick said there is a gag-order on the situation
in the WWE.
Mick talks about who's impressed him in TNA. He loves Creed and the
Knock Outs and he has been watching TNA for some time so he was
real familiar with them. We let Mick go soon after.
Next up an interview with CM Punk and Pain Clinic's Murph the Wease
show on WFXF. CM Punk joins the show and talks about the Tribute
to the Troops. Wease asks him about the CM moniker and what it
means.
Punk talks about this being his 2nd trip to Iraq and how it was different
this time around. Wease's producer Anthony asks Punk about his
straight-edge character. Punk talks about the length of the flight to
Iraq.
Punk gives his thoughts on wrestling radio shows and the internet.
Wease talks about him being from Chicago and the Governor's problems.
Anthony asks why the Tribute to the Troops is on NBC this years.
Wease's co-host Lilly (formerly of Ron & Fez) tells him he looks like
Chris Angel. Lilly said that he must get all the playmates and Punk
said playmates are over rated Lilly asks him if he likes fake boobs
or real ones and Punk said real ones and girls with brains.
Punk talks about the Armageddon PPV in Buffalo. Punk talks about
the movie "The Wrestler". Murph asks Punk about the worst thing
about being on the indy circuit. He said he loved many things about
Indies.
Punk said people say he looks like Christian Bale. Wease's daughter
Diane comes on and asks Punk about his tattoos. Wease talks about
his Tattoo parlor In Rochester and all the famous folks they have tattooed
including Thea Vidale aka Mama Benjamin.
Punk takes a call about his match at Armageddon with Rey and the
GTS move that bloodied Rey's nose. He has to go soon afterwards.
