Through WWE & John Laurinaitas, Japan Mega Promoter Simon Inoki, (former President of New Japan Pro Wrestling) has booked Danny Hodge to appear at the Pro Wrestling Expo in Tokyo, Japan on October 24th & 25th, 2008.

Famed wrestling Author, Mike Chapman (www.wrestlingmuseum.org) of the international wrestling institute & hall of fame, has written Danny's life story and the book will be coming out in the next few months. WWE?s own Jim Ross, and long time friend, has written the forward for the Danny Hodge Biography.

Demos stated that Mike Chapman is a great author and that Danny?s life story is truly remarkable. There are many accomplishments, as well as trials and tribulations throughout Danny?s life, that everyone will find intriguing and inspirational. I believe that Danny?s biography has all the makings of a Hollywood Film.

Background: Danny Hodge, Widely considered the Father OF Extreme Fighting, 2X Olympian, NCAA Dan Hodge Award is the equivalent to the Heisman Trophy in Collegiate Wrestling. Dan is still the ONLY Amateur wrestler to (EVER) be on the Cover of Sports Illustrated (April 1, 1957), Can still crush apples into applesauce with his bare hands. Dan represented his country by serving in the United States Navy and by making two trips to the Olympic Games in 1952 and 1956. Amazingly Dan won the National Golden Gloves Boxing Championship with essentially no formal boxing training.

Attended Oklahoma University (OU) was a three time National Wrestling Champion at and ended his Sooner career with a 46-0 record that included 36 pins. The man was never taken down from a standing position against tough competition. Other legends state that there was no one more physically dominate than Dan Hodge.
