SWCW Presents "Thirst For Gold" This Saturday

SWCW Presents "Thirst For Gold" This Saturday

Posted: Sep 25th 2008 By: CMBurnham

After nearly a month off, tensions at Sooner World Class Wrestling are running high. Anticipation has been building to one date, Saturday September 27th: SWCW's "Thirst For Gold" mega-show. The card for this show is jam-packed with action as ALL SWCW TITLES WILL BE ON THE LINE!

-SWCW Hardcore Champion Kareem Sadat will continue his "Open Hardcore Challenge". Will Sadat continue to mow over the hardcore competiton or will the person who answers his challenge this time finally put the self-proclaimed "Oklahoma Hardcore Legend" in his place?

- SWCW Cruiserweight Champion "Shining Angel" Sage will put his title on the line against his former "New Style Outsiders" partner Rage. Rage seems to have a lot of problems keeping tag team partners, even in his current team Nemesis. First Crisstopher Crow was unceremoniously ejected from the group and more recently Damien Morte took offense to what he perceived as blatant interference and lying from his "so-called friend". Two weeks ago the SWCW camera crew captured a candid conversation between the two in the SWCW dressing room before a workout session.

-SWCW Tag Team Champions X-Rated (Shane Sanchez & Kevin James Sanchez) put the tag gold up against The New Varsity Club (Kevin Morgan & Xavior). The NVC made a triumphant return to SWCW on August 30th as (with the help of associate Damon Windsor) they claimed the #1 contenders spot to the tag team titles. X-Rated released this video message to the NVC:

X-Rated didn't seem too worried about Windsor or The NVC but as the cameras rolled they seemed to lose their composure. Could this mean that X-Rated are a little less confident than they let on?

Never at a loss for words Damon Windsor and The NVC quickly arranged an interview of their own. In this video they let it be known that they intend to walk out of "Thirst For Gold" with the tag team titles and don't intend for X-Rated to walk out at all.

-Also on the line will be 3rd Rail's SWCW Heavyweight Title. 3rd Rail has been unstoppable since taking the SWCW title from "Playboy" Damon Windsor. He has thwarted the efforts of many men since that time but Windsor has remained a thorn in his side. Constant attacks and interference from "The Playboy" and his associates have seemed to weaken the once indestructable champion. And now 3rd Rail faces his biggest challenge yet, at "Thirst For Gold" he will take on the grizzled veteran Outlaw. After winning the title shot in a battle royale on August 30th, Outlaw grabbed a microphone and began a verbal tirade on the monstrous champion. However, 3rd Rail was preoccupied with Damon Windsor and Kevin Morgan at ringside. If 3rd Rail doesn't keep his focus on the wiley Texas veteran, his title run may come to a crashing hault. And now it has been announced that the title match will be a "Texas Bullrope Match", a match that Outlaw has only lost one time. Will lightning strike twice for 3rd Rail or will the distractions and stipulations be too much for the mighty champion?
