SWCW In Shambles, Battle For Company Rages On

SWCW In Shambles, Battle For Company Rages On

Posted: Jun 19th 2008 By: CMBurnham

Ever since SWCW Comissioner Miss Sheila won the SWCW Hardcore Title on May 3rd, Sooner World Class Wrestling has been in chaos. The former champion Kareem Sadaat has been on a rampage, first beating Crisstopher "Freakshow" Crow in a casket match wasnt enough, so he set the caket on fire and dove through it from the top rope, sending the broken flaming wood crashing down on the fallen Crow. So when rookie cruiserweight Jason Kirby made his debut and demanded "respect" Kareem wasted no time coming out and putting Kirby in his place, pummeling him with an arsenal of hardcore weaponry before getting the pin on him.

Sadaat and Miss Sheila both returned after intermission to continue to choose wrestlers to represent them on July 5th's Scars and Stripes show. Miss Sheila's team now consists of Kevin Morgan, 3rd Rail, Spur the Clown, Rage, Damon Windsor and Shane Sanchez. Sadaat's team will be Damien Morte, Kevin James Sanchez, Xavior, Havoc, Angel and Outlaw. More choices will be made at the June 28th show and those teams will square off at July 5th's Scars and Stripes for complete control of the company.

-Other highlights from June 14th

-Spur the Clown got his first win as he took on veteran grappler Outlaw. Outlaw controlled most of the action, using his power to dominte the newcomer Spur. Late in the match , however, the feisty Spur was able to pull a few tricks out of his hat and roll up Outlaw for the win.

-"The Awesome One" Kevin Morgan made his return to SWCW as he took on Romo. Romo put on a valiant fight but couldn't pick up the win as he quickly found out just how "Awesome" Morgan can be.

-After losing his Heavyweight Championship to 3rd Rail at the May 31st show, Damon Windsor had some strong words for the new champ. Windsor stated that Rail made a major mistake at the last show by not laying down for him. Windsor said Rail was selfish and stupid for declining the fabulous lifestyle only "The Playboy" can provide. Windsor then demanded that Rail shake his hand and "do the right thing and lay down." 3rd Rail consulted the crowd and then begrudgingly shook Windsor's hand, only to crush his hand with his mighty grip and clothesline the cocky challenger to the ground. After a back and forth battle Rail hit a chokeslam on the cocky Windsor but was quickly attacked by the SWCW & GPCW Cruiserweight Champion Xavior. He and Windsor put a beatdown on Rail and dropped him with a shot from the SWCW title belt before being stopped by security.

-In Xavior's Cruiserweight Championship defense against Sage (who was again accompanied by the beautiful Angel 3rd), Sage looked to have the match wrapped up as he hit the champion with a running Double-Knee Face Buster. As he went for the cover, Damon Windsor jumped up on the apron and tossed Xavior's cruiserweight title into the ring. As the referee kept Xavior from using the title, Windsor grabbed Sage and dropped his throat across the top rope. Xavior then dropped Sage with his "Hand That Rocks The Cradle" DDT and picked up the win. Windsor and Xavior started putting the boots to the fallen challenger much as they did 3rd Rail earlier. Their attack was cut short though as Romo hit the ring and chased both Sage's attackers away.

-The evening's main event was a two-on-three Handicap Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. If X-Rated(Kevin James and Shane Sanchez) won they would be granted a tag team title shot . If Nemesis (Rage, Damien Morte and Crisstopher Crow) won X-Rated would never get another title shot as long as Rage and Morte' held the belts. This match was brutal from the start as all five combatants sought to destroy their opponents. At one point in the match Damien Morte scaled a ladder and attempted a Swanton Bomb onto Kevin Sanchez but the ladder gave way sending Morte crashing down sickeningly onto his neck and back of his head. Sensing their advantage was slipping away, the other two members of Nemesis scrambled to grab the contract that hung high above the ring. As Crisstopher Crow was a fingertip away from dooming X-Rated's title hopes, Shane Sanchez tipped the ladder over, sending Crow off the ladder, over the top rope and through 4 stacked tables. After that, the size and number advantage swung in the favor or X-Rated and Kevin James climbed up and snatch the title match contract out of the sky.

-After the TLC match Kevin James attended to his brother Shane who was clutching his neck in pain. Shane was examined by the SWCW medical staff and had no major injuries. Damien Morte and Crisstopher Crow were not so lucky and were rushed to a local hospital after massive bleeding and sudden losses of consciousness. Morte was diagnosed as dehydrated due to loss of blood and released. Crow had suffered a concussion and was put under 24 hour watch before being cleared.

-While it is SWCW's number one goal to entertain our fans, it is also our responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of our fine performers. Therefore SWCW Commissioner Miss Sheila has taken steps to ensure that future encounters between X-Rated and Nemesis must be pre-sanctioned by SWCW managment to ensure the health and safety of both teams.

All in all June 14th was an amazing show. Only one show (June 28th) left until July 5th's big "Scars and Stripes" show. Be sure and not miss a minute of the non-stop action of the upcoming SWCW shows as we find out who will represent Miss Sheila and Kareem Sadat. Both have promised HUGE surprises for their remaining picks. Rumors are flying around that Sadaat and Sheila may be seeking members from "outside sources" but neither will comment on these rumors. The only way to find out is to be there first hand. DO NOT miss June 28th when the next 3 picks for each team will be made.
