Former IZW Cruiserweight Champion J. T. LaMotta was ranked # 2 in Indywarz.com Top 100 Wrestlers in Texas. The poll is conducted annually by the staff of Indywarz and the readers of the website and listeners of Indywarz Radio.
LaMotta has been a real workhorse as of late working throughout Texas as well as the recent ACW show in Colorado. He won the 2007 Lone Star Classic Tournament held by Anarchy Championship Wrestling. He was ranked # 11 in last year's Indywarz Top 100. LaMotta is one of 8 entrants in Texas Wrestling Entertainment's "Texas J-Cup" tournament to be held on July 5th.
Others ranked within the Indywarz Top 100 with Oklahoma experience include:
# 15 Larry Canyunga: The name may not be familiar, but he was the 1st ever SRPW Heavyweight Champion. Of course back then he wore a mask and was known as Rebel. The "International Love Machine" primarily works for the Denton based Xreme Championship Wrestling. He was ranked # 30 in 2007.
# 28 Seth Shai: The former IZW Tag Team Champion (w/ Mace) is another workhorse in this list working at several feds across the state of Texas. In last year's Indywarz poll he was ranked # 17. He was also ranked # 426 in the 2007 PWI 500.
