The NWA returns to Oklahoma with a great night of action on Saturday, May 31st in Enid!
One match previously announced sent reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion, "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce, into a frenzy as he was incensed to see that he was to defend the title against the man he beat for it over 8 months ago in Puerto Rico, "The Shooter" Brent Albright. The ever-cantankerous Pearce balked at the notion that Albright is a challenge, and his manager C. Edward Vander Pyle may have gotten him out of the match altogether.
Vander Pyle was behind the scenes lobbying to NWA officials that it was more important at this juncture for Albright to be forced to face Slam Shady to unify the NWA Universal and NWA Oklahoma Titles than worry about a World Title shot when "he hadn't earned it". NWA Executive Director Bob Trobich seemed as if he was set to agree with Vander Pyle, before mandating that Pearce would not get out of a mandatory defense in Enid. Now the winner of the Albright/Shady match will face Pearce later in the show on May 31!
In addition, it all breaks loose when Enid bears witness to the Oklahoma return of Sid Vicious! Who will "the man that rules the world" face? Will he go after the World Title himself? We'll all find out on May 31!
Also currently scheduled:
NWA North American Heavyweight champion Mike DiBiase will defend his title!
"The French Stallion" Thomas LeRuffa is in from France and unhappy he's going to be in Oklahoma!
NWA Midwest Tag Team Champions The Skullz will make their OK debut!
Plus more with Tristan Gallo, Rory Fox, Chaz Taylor, the monstrous AWOL,
The Texas Treats, Les Mayne, Scott McKenzie and Danny Matthews, Joey Spector , and MORE!
Be there on Saturday night, May 31 in Enid!
