The Playboy Bites Off More Than He Can Chew

The Playboy Bites Off More Than He Can Chew

Posted: Mar 25th 2008 By: CMBurnham

This past Saturday was a HUGE night for Sooner World Class Wrestling. They nearly blew the roof off of the UnderGround arena with FIVE big title matches. One man was not scheduled in any title match. But "The Playboy" Damon Windsor has never let a thing like rules or scheduled matches keep him from being in the spotlight.

In the Women's title match the two female grapplers had just gotten the match underway when all too familiar music came blasting over the speakers and out walked "The Playboy" with a chair in hand. He made his way down to ringside and took a seat stating that he was only there because he wanted to get a closer look at the action. He feigned over-the-top enthusiasm throughout the match. His true motives for being at ringside were soon revealed. As Venom was shot onto the ropes Windsor tripped her causing her to face-plant into the mat. Her opponent Dominique LeReaux wasted no time and rolled up Venom for the 1..2..3 to become the new women's champion.

Windsor unfortunately was not done just yet and jumped onto the apron to taunt the cheated Venom and received a slap in the face for his efforts. Venom was then blindsided by LeReaux and held in front of Windsor as he went on a vocal rant saying that the interference was because Venom was a guest referee the night Windsor took on Havoc for the SWCW championship. Since she couted his shoulders down even though Windsor claimed his hand was under the rope, he stated SHE was the reason he wasn't champion. As he was just seconds away from attacking the defenseless Venom , Havoc hit the ring and decked the arrogant Windsor. The Playboy wanted little of Havoc and began to walk the new women's champion to the back. Havoc then grabbed the microphone and issued a challenge. "Windsor! You want to whine and cry about our first match, you want a rematch that bad? You got one. Right here, right now. No excuses, No whining, No Disqualification! Falls Count Anywhere Underground Street Fight!"

Both men had fire in there eyes in this match as the traded momentum back and forth. At one point Windsor set Havoc in the corner and drove a trash can lid directly into the face of the champion. Later in the match Havoc lit the challenger up with a spine rattling chair shot. After gaining the advantage once again it looked like Windsor was setting Havoc up for his patented "One Night Stand" Double-Arm DDT but he took a little too much time trading insults with the fans and it was reversed into Havoc's "Hangman's Suplex" onto a steel chair. The champion made the cover and left Windsor lying as he left the ring victorious.

Other Highlights from the March 22nd Show-

SWCW Commissioner Miss Sheila started out the show by calling out SWCW Hardcore Champion Kareem Sadat, she threatened to take away his pay for the night as he has cheated and broken the rules time and time again throughout the past few shows. Sadat replied "Listen here you B****! You can take my pay when you can pin my shoulders down for a 3 count". Rick Garrett, who was at ringside, jumped in the ring nailed Kareem with a flying shoulder tackle and while Sadat was stunned Miss Sheila covered him for the pin and walked out with Kareem's cash in hand.

Cruiserweight Title Match
Sage VS Xavior-
Xavior used his strength to gain a decisive early advantage. After a few near falls Sage mounted a massive comeback hitting a one-knee face buster from the top rope to put Xavior away. Xavior however complained that his foot was under the rope and went to hit the new champ with the title belt. Sage ducked and hit another face-buster smashing the title directly into Xavior's face.
Winner and New SWCW Cruiserweight Champion: "Shining Angel" Sage

Romo VS Slash
Romo the up and coming rookie of SWCW has make quite the showing of late against some of Oklahoma's most decorated stars. This was no different, Romo fired up and gave GPCW Champion Slash his best shot.Unfortunately for Romo the wily veteran Slash brought his "A" game as well as an array of chops and took the young buck down.
Winner: Slash

3rd Rail VS Tyson James
MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Champion 3rd Rail came out to the ring and called out MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Champion Tyson Jaymes. Rail said that Tyson had been causing a lot of problems and hadn't been acting like a good partner lately. Tyson Jaymes came out and the two decided to settle their differences in the ring. After 3rd Rail got the win he extended his hand to Tyson but he just slapped it away and walked off.
Winner: 3rd Rail

Luscious Larry VS Spur The Clown
Luscious Larry came out after intermission and put him "luscious moves" on a lucky lady and was confronted by a Rodeo Clown that was at ringside entertaining children. He jumped in the ring and told us his name was "Spur The Clown". Larry didn't take kindly to this interruption and made short work of the newcomer but with his enthusiasm and instant crowd attraction, I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Spur.
Winner: Luscious Larry

2 Stages Of Hell Tag Match
X-Rated (Kevin James and Shane Sanchez) defeated SWCW Tag Champs Death Row (Shank and Blade) in a normal tag match. However their victory was short lived as their long time rivals Nemesis (Rage and Damien Morte) kept them from enjoying their night by defeating them in a tables match to become he new SWCW Tag Team Champions.
Winners: NEMESIS
