'Kishi likes to help troubled kids

He reportedly weighs more than 400 pounds and is used to beating down opponents, but he's also got a wish to help troubled kids.
"One of the biggest things I enjoy is being up close with kids who are needy," said Kishi Fatu, a wrestler from the Samoan family that also includes the likes of The Rock and Yokozuna.
Fatu is in town for a Wrestling Fan Xperience (WFX) event tonight at Winnipeg's Marlborough Hotel.
Earlier in the week, Fatu spoke to a group of 12 and 13-year-old young offenders and told them about his successes and the need to reach towards positive goals.
"The way I got it was through hard work," Fatu said. "I told them to 'write down your hopes and dreams and find opportunities to get your dreams.' "
MYSTERY EVENT
Fatu used to go by the name Rikishi in his 12 years with World Wrestling Entertainment.
For tomorrow's match-ups, WFX has brought in a range of professional wrestlers, including the likes of Chris Mordetzky, formerly Chris Masters, along with Buff Bagwell, the Black Pearl and up-and-coming Canadian wrestler Wavell Starr.
The show also features a mystery event, with two unnamed stars scheduled to appear.
"We'll be mixing it up with the finest talent in Canada," said Mordetzky.
The evening's main event features 25 wrestlers who enter the ring in one minute intervals, battling it out until only a single person remains, getting crowned as the first winner of the World Card Cup of Wrestling.
"The good thing about these shows is the fans can get up close," said Mordetzky, adding the venue holds just under a 1,000 fans.
"It's a far more interactive approach to wrestling," said Mike Davidson, WFX's president.
MEET AND TALK
"We make fans the most important part of the show," said Davidson, adding the league aims to give fans opportunities to meet and talk with wrestling stars.
The matches go down tonight at 7 p.m. at the Skyview Ballroom, on the 8th floor of the downtown Marlborough Hotel.
