Outlaw Shows that Blood is Thicker Than Gold

Never underestimate the cunning and sneaky lows that SWCW Women's Champion Talon will drop to. Although she kept her duplicitous side from most of the MSWA fans, the truth became obvious Sunday afternoon when her brother, MSWA Oklahoma Champion Outlaw, sided with her and turned on his tag team partner Bad Boy after they lost the belts.
Bad Boy & Outlaw had been champions for 6 months and had successfully defended those belts against all challengers. And a couple of months ago, they added Outlaw's sister Talon to their fold, allowing her to accompany them to the ring. Talon seemed to have embraced the fans finally and the threesome continued their winning ways.
But Talon's influence began to show itself 1 month ago when Outlaw was 1 of 4 combatants in a Fatal 4-Way Match to fill the vacant MSWA Oklahoma Title. The match came down to Outlaw and Montego Seeka, both extremely popular. When it seemed like Outlaw was on the verge of losing to the promising rookie, Talon handed Outlaw a loaded glove, which he used to knock Seeka out and claim the title. At the time, it seemed an uncharacteristic move, but Outlaw expressed that he was determined to show that he was the best wrestler in the state and no upstart was going to embarass him. He still thanked the fans and the glove was forgotten.
This week, both the champions and the challenging team of the South Side Soul Assassins knew that it would be the toughest match of either team's career. Outlaw showed no fear in the face of the massive size of 3rd Rail and Bad Boy matched the speed and agility of Tyson Jaymes. It seemed like there might not be a winner in the match and then the referee was accidentaly knocked out and things got interesting. Talon handed Outlaw the loaded glove, which he prepared to use on 3rd Rail, but Rail ducked and Outlaw accidentally knocked out Bad Boy. Outlaw didn't cry over spilled milk here. He readjusted and knocked out Rail, but Rail fell on top of Bad Boy and while Outlaw was celebrating what he thought was a great move on his part, the referee had recovered and made the three-count. The titles changed hands and Outlaw was the cause! As the champions left the ring enjoying their newly won belts, Outlaw apologised to Bad Boy, but then turned on him and clotheslined him. The grizzled veteran took the microphone and berated Bad Boy, saying he had gone out of his way to fill the spot left when Glen Steel was injured. He'd taken beatings meant for Bad Boy and sweat for Bad Boy, all to protect the belts, but Bad Boy had let him down. Outlaw then attacked Bad Boy, but the South Side Soul Assassins ran to the ring to defend the former champion. More heated words were exchanged between the pair as the show came to a close.
Ironically, Outlaw was in a similar situation several months ago, just on the opposite side. At an SWCW event in February, Outlaw was set to face off against the Roc-N-Roll Cowboy and it appeared that Talon had abandoned her then-husband after Outlaw made a speech talking about the sacrifices he made to help her when they were young. But that was all another lie as Talon turned on her brother and kept Corporate America strong. Now, with her marriage to the Cowboy over, family ties are what seem important, even more so than gold. And while both brother and sister have championship titles at the current time, the wrath of other wrestlers combined with the loss of respect from the fans may prove to be too much for this pair to deal with.
