Iles resigns as SWCW commissioner

Amid controversy, show cancellations, and the future of Sooner World Class Wrestling in doubt, Mike Iles has resigned as commissioner. This announcement came from Iles himself via conference call. He said "It was never my intent to "screw over" the fans or any of the wrestlers in the back. I felt that Rick Garrett was dodging viable challengers, namely Striker. But now with the company in jeopardy I feel it would be in the best interest of the company and the fans that I step down effective immediately". Iles said that he had no say so in show bookings or cancellations, just the show from bell to bell. SWCW cancelled their show on October 28th, a show that was scheduled to be a charity event for the family of Trailer Park Trash, who's father passed away a few months ago. Iles said "We were all set for the show this weekend but The Underground Arena was booked for a party and we were squeezed out. I feel sorry for Trailer Park Trash as this would have helped them and their families out. I may not have seen eye to eye with them but I had no problem with the show". When asked about his future in wrestling, Iles said "I have been contacted by other feds and maybe something will pop up. I worked for Fellowship of Christian Wrestlers last weekend as ring announcer and special guest commissioner but I know that Kitty does a fine job over there. I have also been invited to the upcoming All American Championship Wrestling event on November 10th at Farmer's Market as Damien Strange's special guest. I guess everyone will just have to wait and see."
SWCW has not announced a replacement commissioner at this time. They also have not announced the status of the Heavyweight Champion Striker, Tag Team Champions Luc Lapointe & Beau Dalton, and Sooner Xtreme Champion Beau Dalton. All four of those wrestlers are currently managed by Iles in SWCW only. SWCW's next show is scheduled for December 8th so SWCW has the luxury of time to name the replacement so as to hire the right person.
