Beth Phoenix is planning world domination. Victoria, you have been warned.

"You're in trouble if you step in the ring with me!"

She is WWE's toughest Diva. "Phoenix describes me well : whatever knocks me down, I'm going to rise above it." And you'd better believe her. For Beth Phoenix isn't going to let anything prevent her fulfilling her childhood dreams, not even a recently broken jaw.

She grew up watching wrestling with her grandma, worked her way up through amateur wrestling, including fighting boys at high school, and now has a burning desire : "I want to win the women's championship. But beyond that I want to set a new standard for women's wrestling. I want to bring it up to the next level."

That's no idle boast. Unusual among her Diva colleagues because of her solid wrestling background, the lessons Beth learned in her amateur days have given her an edge in the professional ring : "At school, I pretty much got my butt kicked day in, day out. But it made me put in extra hours after training, just to be able to compete," she says.

"Now, I'm the most physically dominant of the Divas. You're in trouble if you step in the ring with me."

But she's not the only Diva with suck ambition. "There's cattiness all the time backstage," she says. "We're in a competitive business. Every single day is a competition, and I hope my mindset drives everyone else to be the best, because I want competition. If you're good, I want to be great."

And it's not just the Divas who should beware, warns Beth : "If I could wrestle anyone it would be Posh Spice. That girl's attitude needs bumping down a notch!" Watch out Victoria - no one's going to stop this Phoenix rising to the top.
