All Hail Mohammad!!

C. M. Burnham

This past Sunday, a benefit show to raise funds for the rebuilding of the Admiral Twin Drive-In was held. Musicians, artists and pro wrestlers all gathered to show support for a historic landmark featured in the 1983 movie, "The Outsiders".

Amongst the many events scheduled for that day was the debut of Main Event Reality Combat, a new wrestling federation in Tulsa. With an assemblage of talent that ran from the long-time veteran (Shane Cortez, Brandon Groom, Bobby Burns) to the up-and-coming youngsters (Robbie Awesome, Kyle Everlast, AWF Champion Justin Sane), MERC set out to not only entertain the crowd, but to help raise money for a good cause.

But, as usual, there is always someone present to rain on the parade of everyone else. And that someone came in the person of manager Mohammad burn Ham. Burn Ham stormed to the ring and announced to the crowd that he was there to bring class and dignity to the new federation, then brought out his charge, "The Raging Bull" Lee Cook. Cook faced off against Sam Stackhouse on the first card and controlled most the match before Stackhouse captialised on one mistake and caught Cook with the Black Hole Slam. It wouldn't be the last time that burn Ham and Stackhouse would encounter each other that day.

Stackhouse next clashed with burn Ham after defeating Chris Morrison. Burn Ham, accompanied by his other charge, Bobby Star, entered the ring and Star began to annihilate Stackhouse with a chair. Burn Ham grabbed the microphone and informed the crowd that his contacts were endless and his knowledge overwhelming. He then introduced the man he called "The most controversial wrestler in Oklahoma", a title Star received based on an incident at the Extreme Pro Wrestling event in Pittsburgh, KS where Star refused to participate in a Battle Royal after clashing with Lars Manderson earlier in the show. Star showed no fear against Stackhouse, though, as long as he had his chair. And even without the chair, he had no problem handling rookie Khaos. Although outweighed, Star wasn't outsmarted as he kept the referee distracted so that burn Ham could add insult and punishment on the outside. Although Khaos has been successful in several Handicap Matches in MSPW, he could not overcome the 2-on-1 odds on this afternoon and fell to defeat, allowing burn Ham's ego to grow to epic proportions.

But Star's issue with Stackhouse wasn't over, as he arrived after the match with Khaos, and ran off the red-headed grappler. Both men would retreat to the dressing area and attempt to keep a distance from each other for the rest of the evening. But words were said, looks were given and even though a match between the two was signed, they couldn't wait to start it. As MERC ring announcer Lynx was set to start the match, Jessica Journey emerged from the dressing area screaming. She was followed by Star and Stackhouse, who were beating each other severely. The burn Ham arrived, clutching his head and demanded a microphone. He told referee John the Encourager that this match was now to be a Middle East Mayhem match. There were no DQ's and every kind of weapon was legal. Star and Stackhouse beat on each other as they rounded the ring area with Star using burn Ham's riding crop as well as a nearby chair. When things finally moved into the ring, Star and Stackhouse turned up the action, doing everything they could to annihilate each other. And just when it seemed that things couldn't get any more brutal, Star brought out 3 bags of tacks and dumped them on the mat. Unfortunately for him, he ended up being the one to be slammed on them, not once by twice. But that didn't stop Star as he took out Stackhouse's knee, then grabbed a chair and beat on Sam again and again until Sam finally had to give up. Burn Ham celebrated, knowing the Star had delivered the only loss to Stackhouse's record that day, even if it had taken everything short of a table to get the job done.

With Cook and Star under his contract, burn Ham looks to build a stable that rivals that of any other managerial assortment in Oklahoma. Rumour has it that he has his eyes on the new MERC Tag Team champions Bad Bromance. Could he be pairing Cook and Star together to make a run for those titles? Or might he have other acquisitions yet to be revealed? With close friends like Mike Iles and Stevie Caballero, burn Ham has learned from the best. Now the opportunity has come for him to make his impact on the Oklahoma managerial scene.
