Where exactly does Slash stand?

Slash

Oklahoma City-area wrestler Slash is a wily veteran who's generally been known only to look out for himself and his tag team partner Outlaw, but things may be changing due to recent actions in AACW.

On June 9th, in Guthrie, Slash was defeated by Kareem Sadat. This marked Sadat's first victory and Slash did not take pleasure in his loss. Later that night, Slash took some revenge against Sadat's manager, Mustafa Sharmoot, during a Lumberjack/Kendo Stick match pitting Sharmoot and AACW Champion Al Farat against Glen Steel and Prophet. The crowd certainly seemed to be on Slash's side and he appeared to enjoy hearing the cheers of the people.

But things were back to normal the next night in Oklahoma City, as Slash advanced to the finals of the AACW Television Title Tournament by defeating Sadat. Neither man was particularly popular, but this night, Slash made no move against Sharmoot. Slash's partner in the Disicples of Discipline, Outlaw, did not fare so well, losing to Prophet.

This past Saturday, Slash and Prophet met to determine the first AACW Television Champion. Things appeared to be going well for Slash. Referee Rob Justice was knocked out during the match. Then Mustafa Sharmoot came down and hit Slash in the back of the head with a slapjack, allowing Prophet to cover him and gain the pinfall and the title. Slash was exceptionally upset, voicing his opinion to everyone in the arena all during the 1st intermission. He and Kareem Sadat exchanged very heated words and security had went to great lengths to make sure that the two competitors were seperated.

Then, in one final act of subterfuge that night, Slash came out during the Hardcore match between Glen Steel and Al Farat, hitting Farat with the same slapjack, allowing Steel to gain a victory. While there was not an alliance between the two men, they both have a hatred of Sharmoot and his Disciples of Allah.

Slash's connection to Sharmoot extends back into the MSWA territory where, as Slash bin Rotten, he was managed by Sharmoot. That alliance ended earlier this year and it appears that it ended on bad terms.
