Steven Cruze Interview

Steven Cruze Interview

Posted: Oct 3rd 2016 By: Lance Osburn

To start go ahead and introduce yourself.

My name is Steven Cruze and I am originally for Cincinnati Ohio but I have lived in Tulsa for 15 years. I’ve been wrestling for 1 year now for Compound Pro Wrestling, UWE, WFC, and Mid South Wrestling alliance in Oklahoma and then a few places in Kansas and Texas.

Why wrestling? What made you want to get into this business?

It’s just something I’ve been wanting to do. I’ve been a fan for a while so once I saw the opportunity I hoped on board.

Who trained you? And how long did it take for you to have your first match?

I was trained by Canadian Red Devil at the Compound Pro Wrestling School. I trained for 7 months before I had my first match.

Tell me about your first match? What are some highlights that you remember?

My first match was a Tag Team match. My partner was Urn Stokes and we faced Giganto and DJ Able. Me and Urn won by DQ.

When you first started wrestling, who were some people you looked up to?

Sting was the main person I looked up to. I loved watching him work.

What are some career highlights that mean a lot to you?

I am 2x Compound Showtime Champion. My first title run was from this past April till June and my second run started 3 weeks ago.

If you could work with anyone, past or present, who would it be?

Easy, Kevin Owens.

What are your future goals you would love to accomplish?

Just to stay in this business as long I can without getting injured or injuring anyone else.
