Interview With Anarchy [2nd]
Posted: Sep 6th 2016 By: Lance Osburn
To start go ahead and introduce yourself.
My name is Brandon Eubanks but I wrestle by the name Anarchy. I’m from Talehquah Oklahoma and I’ve been wrestling for 14 years all over Oklahoma including UWE, WFC, and Sooner Pro Wrestling which is where I began my career.
Why wrestling? What made you want to do this?
I grew up watching wrestling with my grandma and I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember. My grandma use to buy me and my brother merchandise from the Mid South shows and UWF. As I got older wrestling became a good creative outlet for me.
How did you get into the wrestling business?
I was waiting tables and one night I waited on Big Smooth and “The Hardcore NDN” Daniel Flynn. I mentioned to them about me and my brother were interested in becoming Pro Wrestlers so they put us in contact with Running Wolf.
Who trained you and how long did you train until you had your first match?
My trainer was Running Wolf. I trained for 1 month before I had my first match against my brother Brad aka Fuel. During our training Running Wolf tried to make us quit. Once he realized that we were not going to quit he took us under his wing and taught us everything we know.
Tell me about your first match. What were some highlights you remember?
As I said my first match was against my brother Brad. I remember being super nervous and proud at the same time. My grandma passed away before we had this match but I knew she was watching and was proud of us. There was one point where I had Brad on the mat and I was on the second rope ready to dive off, but I then realized that I had never practiced anything from here! Looking back now I can laugh at that moment.
When you were starting out who were some people who you looked up to?
Randy Savage, Brian Pillman, Dean Malinko, and Ric Flair. Flair was always who I watched during his title runs. I learned a lot from him.
What are some career highlights that stick out to you the most?
Beating Fuel to win the Sooner Pro Cruiserweight Championship and being trusted with it for a year and a half, Winning the UWE Championship for the first time against Jon Cross, My Showdown 4 Ironman match against Jon Cross, and being the final Sooner Pro Heavyweight Champion.
If you could work anyone, past or present, who would it be?
There is actually 2 dream matches I would love to have. The first one would be against Brian Pillman. The second one would be me working as a heel against Tommy Dreamer in the old ECW.
Do you have any future goals you would love to accomplish?
I just want to be remembered as the guy everyone loved working with. I want to be the favorite opponent everyone talks about.
