Interview with James "Spike" Lee
Posted: Mar 25th 2014 By: CMBurnham
C. M.: Tell us a little about your pro wrestling background.
Spike: I started wrestling a year ago. Since then I've been all over wrestling for many different federations, such as UWE, SRPW, BPPW, HTH, SAW, WFC, NWA-TXO, SWCW, MSWA, IZW, PACW, ComPro, & OWA
C. M.: This is your first opportunity to compete in front of your home town crowd. How does that make you feel?
Spike: Competing in front of my hometown is an honor. To have my family and friends in the audience cheering my name is an amazing feeling and I look forward to the chants. It's surreal knowing that people are there to see you doing what you love to do.
C. M.: Aside from this event, what would you say (professionally) is the biggest accomplishment you've made in the short time you've been in the business?
Spike: Probably my biggest accomplishment was winning the Tag Titles in Arkansas working for SAW. But also getting to wrestle for a cause (WFC) is something I hold dear to me. Being able to bring just a little but of happiness to the family's of those who are sick is an amazing feeling.
C. M. Do you know who you are facing at the Bartlesville Brawl?
Spike: I don't know who in facing yet. Anyone is fine with me I will go out and perform like I always do and deliver a great match for the fans. As far as working with someone I would love the opportunity to wrestle Bull Schmitt and/or Jon Cross.
C. M.: Any final words you want to share with your fans before March 28?
Spike: I'm going to do my best against my opponent and hopefully I'll come out on top. Would hate to disappoint my home town crowd.
