Interview with Missy Hyatt

Interview with Missy Hyatt

Posted: Jun 17th 2009 By: mikeiles

1. How did you get in the wrestling business?
I started in Texas for World Class in 1985 as "Hollywood" John Tatum's valet (he was my boyfriend at the time) He was having problems with "Sunshine" the fan favorite so I was brought in to take her on.

1. How did you end up working for Fritz Von Erich and WCCW? ~ see above

3. Any fond memories from WCCW?

All my memories from WCCW are fond memories. It was the best place I ever worked and if I had a time machine I would go back there. If I had only worked for WCCW then I could have gone on and done something different and lived a happy life knowing my deam of becoming a wrestling star came true since we were treated as "talented money making draws" by the company and the fans.

4. How did you end up in the UWF working for Bill Watts and what was it like working for him?
When Ken Mantel, the Freebirds and a few others left, John and I went too. At the time it seemed to be a higher move. Bill only got respect from the wrestlers by yelling and using fear and intimidation, not by running his business honest or being positive. He never gave anyone praise. I did not grow up in a home with yelling so I wasn't used to that and I tried to avoid him. On the other side Jim Ross was really cool.

5. How did you leave UWF and how did you end up working for Vince McMahon?
When I got the call from Vince I had to beg Bill to get out of the bogus contract I had signed. Even when he knew he was selling it to Crockett (the wrestlers didn't) he still made a stink and tried to take my name and caused problems for me in WWF. I believe it was because I was a female with a brain and wasn't afraid of him and that made him mad. I was prepared for him though, with his violations of the bogus contract. I was ready to fight, his lawyer was stunned too. I also would not buy any of the Amway he was making the wrestlers buy.

6. How did you end up in the NWA aka WCW?
After I did such a bad job in WWF I went to Dusty and Jim Crockett with my tail between my legs and asked for my job back. I remember Dusty saying "we will show them how to use a female right" I wish that would have happened and I was really given a chance. Since the companies still aren't getting it right now either.

7. Any fond memories of WCW?
The paycheck! And meeting my best friend Elix (she worked in production) We are sill close even though we don't live close anymore. She is one of my best and longest friends I have ever had.

8/ What was it like working ECW and working for Paul Heyman?
Fun at the start, he lived with Hotstuff Eddie Gilbert and myself in an apartment we had in Alabama when Eddie was booking CWF. We use to say we were siblings separated at birth since we loved being yentahs. So it was great to be able to work with him again.

9/ What are your memories of XPW and what was it like working for Rob Black and Lizzy Borden?
It was ok, I always got my money. I thought they where phony since Rob tried to act like Paul E backstage and during the show etc. Lizzy was phony acting like she wanted to be friends giving me t-shirts and makeup. But that is all "LA" people and they only use you to get what they want. Great memory was myself and Big Dick Dudley going to Gene Simmons birthday party after one of the shows. (yes I know Gene and no I have not had any sexual relations of any kind with him.) BBD was the one who got me booked there and he had a great heart, a cool guy.

Waht are you doing these days, and any messages for your fans?
I am involved in my websites Missyhyatt.net and missyhyatt247.com. MissyHyatt.net has over 11,000 photos of me and other hot girls. We have over 200 videos and the site is updated weekly with new material. I also do a weekly webcam chat and if that isn't enough Missy for you, you can join MissyHyatt247.com which is a webcam in my apartment that runs 24/7. I do 3 webcam chats a week on that site. Also say we are thinking about coming out with a lot of new videos done as series with fan involvement like boobbuster ie myth busters where fans post the myths and I see if they are real or busted. Fans can submit ideas for photoshoots.

For over 2 years I have been doing WSU - Women Superstars Uncensored. I was just inducted in their female Hall of Fame. I still do other indies and autograph shows and comic conventions.

Also I strongly endorse Wrestlers Rescue (http://wrestlersrescue.org) and Sports Legacy Institute (http://www.sportslegacy.org/) I volunteered to donate my brain (after death of course) But my first love is Russell Rescue. I am a foster mom to abandoned Jack Russell Terriers and donate my time at my local animal shelter. If you want to really help go to your local shelter and adopt a pet or volunteer to walk dogs, they take donations for spade and neutering.

Finally I would like to thank the fans who have supported me over the years, it really does mean so much to me.
