Interview with Rage Logan
Posted: Mar 5th 2009 By: mikeiles
Hello SWCW fans, this is your SWCW host with the most Shawn McKeaigg. As was reported earlier, Sage received a broken neck in his match with Rage Logan on the 28th of February. I recently caught up with SWCW Cruiserweight Champion Rage Logan to get his reaction to this unfortunate news.
-First of all Rage, thank you for taking time out of your day to be with us.
-RL: That's Mr. Logan to you.
-Right, well lets get straight to the facts.
In your title defense on the 28th you delivered a move called a release dragon suplex. This is known to be an extremely dangerous move. Do you feel that, even with your heated history with Sage, that using that was over the line?
-RL: You know, I have thought about that everyday since the show. I've come to the realization that if Sage hadn't demanded the match then he wouldn't have gotten hurt. So its his own fault.
-Do you have any regrets for your actions?
-RL: Only that i didnt permanently put him in a wheelchair.
-Upon winning that match, you won control over Lady Starwind's SWCW contract. Do you plan to release her from that stipulation?
-RL: Are you kidding? I've always wanted a maid. Someone to do my dirty work, carry my bags and if she's lucky I might just let her give me a rub down after my matches.
-Do you really think she's going to do all that for you?
-RL: I own her contract now, that means she will do what i say. If she refuses I will publicly fire her, taking away the only money she has to pay Sage's doctor bills. So unless she wants to end up working and living on the street corner, she had better do exactly what I say.
-Many have been saying that you purposely injured Sage to prevent him from contending for your Cruiserweight title. Stating that you knew he could beat you and only by putting him out of action could you secure your title. What is your response to these accusations?
-RL: HA HA....I am not threatened by anyone, especially him. On Saturday I proved, just like the many times before, that Sage, The "Shining Angel", GZP...whatever he chooses to call himself.. will never be able to hang with Greatness. To answer your question...no, it was not done purposely, but he knew what he was risking going up against me and if he was better prepared, he wouldn't have got injured. It just proves that he's not in my league.
-Well Mr. Logan, thank you for granting us this interview; do you have any last words to the Sage or the fans of SWCW?
-RL: Yeah... To all the nay-sayers who don't yet believe that I am the absolute best at what I do...Simply take a look at my record...I have one of the best Win/Loss records in SWCW and am the most dominant cruiserweight in the state. Sage was a slow learner, let him be an example. To all the others who want to step up against me, you will recognize that "Greatness" is truly spelled R-A-G-E.
