Federations

Tornado Pro Wrestling

Born from the ashes of Oklahoma Championship Wrestling, Tornado Pro Wrestling started as Tornado Lucha Libre, a federation designed to bring Lucha Libre style of wrestling to the Tulsa area. For almost 3 months, the federation promoted cards at a local Hispanic centre and was even invited to put on shows during the Cinco de Mayo Festival in 2003. But the Hispanic population never really turned out to support TLL and so it became TPW, Tornado Pro Wrestling. Continuing the tradition of its predecessors OPW & OCW, TPW remained a strong force in the city of Tulsa and the surrounding areas, promoting such stars as Rocco Valentino, Romero Contreras, Jon Davis, Justin Lee, The Forsaken, Poo Bear & Kitty the Hellcat. TPW ran their last show on May 13, 2006.
