Mickie James was inducted into the Native American Music Hall of Fame last weekend.

While Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, & Seth Rollins reuniting as The Shield was probably the match everyone was looking forward to at tonight's "TLC" pay-per-view, with the change and the unexpected addition of A. J. Styles facing Finn Balor, that sentiment has probably now shifted to this match. This is certainly a dream match between two of the most gifted wrestlers in the world today and an interesting match that pits two former leaders of the world-famous Bullet Club faction. Balor, wrestling under the name of Prince Devitt, took over the leadership of the faction in 2013. It lasted around a year and eventually The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) also part of the group, turned on Balor during a Loser Leaves Town match against Taguchi. Balor lost, ending his association with the faction, and eventually New Japan Pro Wrestling as well. Styles took over the reigns of The Bullet Club for around two years after Balor left the promotion. At "Wrestle Kingdom 10" in January 2016, The Bullet Club turned on Styles and Kenny Omega became the new leader. “I think most people thought they’d see A. J. Styles vs. Finn Balor maybe at a different time, maybe in a different country. Maybe not so abruptly. But it’s happening,” Styles told WWE.com when he was interviewed backstage in Buenos Aires. Argentina while on tour with the SmackDown brand. Styles said he had fought demons all his life and warned Balor that he’s about to meet the phenomenal one.

WWE indicated that Finn Balor will still be wearing his “Demon” paint for the match against A. J. Styles at "TLC".

Jim Ross was promoting his book on Colin Cowherd's show on FS1 on Thursday and predicted that at some point, probably for a one-shot deal, that Conor McGregor would get a paycheck from Vince McMahon. Cowherd said that he didn't think McGregor would fight for UFC again because there's more money in WWE.

Any debate about the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling has to start with the styling, profiling, limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss-stealing, wheeling-and-dealing son of a gun himself. Ric Flair tweeted out a photoshopped image -- originally created by Twitter user Mark World Order -- of the iconic monument Sunday morning, and to no surprise, the former 16-time world champion was one of the four. The other names were "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and The Rock.

Mil Mascaras was recently asked his thoughts on his nephews, Alberto El Patron and Hijo de Dos Caras, recent comments about him being too old and should retire and also about El Patron's claim about having done more (like traveling to other countries, etc.) than he did. Mascaras called his nephews “ignorant” and said they are young and don’t have the wisdom that comes with age. He mentioned that he traveled a lot in his career and unlike Alberto, he wrestled talent from those countries as opposed to Alberto only wrestling talent from the promotions (WWE primarily) that he worked for. Mascaras said that today’s wrestling has become sports entertainment and when he wrestled, he was a wrestler and not a sports entertainer. Mascaras said his nephews are nothing like their father Dos Caras, who is respectful. He also said he was not related to Alberto because he is not a “Del Rio”! Mascaras then mentioned how he is well-versed in world history from Mexico, South America, North America, Asia, everywhere. He said that he is well-read and doesn’t live in a fantasy
world like his nephews.

A new documentary called "Roddy Piper: In His Own Words" looks at Piper’s career from interviews he's done. A percentage of all sales will be going to the Doernbeacher Children's Hospital, which Piper had worked on fund raising events for in the past.

Oklafan extends condolence to the family and friends of Stan Kowalski, who passed away on October 20th at the age of 91 years old. Kowalski, who was born Bert Smith, began his career around 1950 and wrestled under many names. Prior to his time in wrestling, he served in World War II in the Navy aboard thee different submarines. After entering professional wrestling, Kowalski would go on to form many different successful tag team partnerships. The most famous came with Tiny Mills as Murder, Inc. This duo would hold the AWA World Tag Team Titles on three different occasions. Kowalski also wrestled under the name Killer Kowalski and sparked a bit of a rivalry with Walt “Killer” Kowalski, who was much more famous for using that name. Another rivalry occurred between himself (as Krusher Kowalski) vs. Crusher Lisowski, resulting in a Krusher vs. Crusher match where the loser could not use their nickname again. After wrestling for 20+ years, Kowalski would retire from in-ring competition, but remained as a manager under the name “The Big K”. He would still appear on AWA wrestling programming under this name in the late 1980s. When his wrestling career was finally over, Kowalski was active in helping homeless veterans as well as The United Way. Kowalski has eight documented matches in Oklahoma. The earliest was September 8, 1973 in Tulsa, where he and Kim Duk lost to Ken Mantell & Dewey Robertson. The last was December 17, 1973 in Tulsa where again, he teamed with Kim Duk and lost to Ken Mantell & Grizzly Smith. During his brief stint in Oklahoma, Kowalski & Duk defeated Alex Perez & El Gran Tapio on October 4, 1973 for the TSW United States Tag Team Titles. They would hold those titles until January, 1974, when they would lose them to Luke Brown & Klondike Bill.
