NEWS
Mick Foley posted on Facebook "IT'S TIME...TO PUT VADER IN THE HALL OF FAME. I have been talking with Leon White the past few weeks, so I knew the news might be coming. But seeing it in print this morning was a shock nonetheless. Leon is dying. He has been told by doctors that he may have less than two years left to live. His legacy is so important to him, and he has told me that being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame would mean so much on both a personal and professional level. On a global level, Vader was one of the greatest attractions the pro wrestling business has ever seen. I have talked with people at the highest levels at WWE, and hope and pray that Leon's name will be included in the class of 2017 Hall of Fame inductees."

Dave Meltzer reported on "Wrestling Observer Radio" that Goldberg will definitely work with Brock Lesnar again in a rematch from Sunday's "Survivor Series" pay-per-view, where Goldberg defeated Lesnar in an 86 second match. Meltzer noted that the deal was put together within the past week, and it was something that Lesnar and others pushed for. It was noted that Lesnar saw money in a Goldberg program and didn’t want to end it with one match, and Vince McMahon apparently saw that as well. As for why the WWE match was so short, Meltzer noted that it wasn’t because of Goldberg being hurt. He said the match was changed to get Goldberg over once he agreed to stay, and the decision was made to do a short match like his short WCW matches that got him over in the first place.

After Goldberg's win in 86 seconds over Brock Lesnar at WWE's "Survivor Series" event, many fans were shocked. But wrestlers from around the world took to social media and praised the ending and said it will lead to a bigger rematch later.

Goldberg has agreed to work the 2017 "WWE Royal Rumble" pay-per-view from the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. Goldberg reportedly made the deal this week and will be participating in the 30-man Royal Rumble main event for just the second time in his career. No word yet on a potential WrestleMania 33 match but anything is possible.

The WWE Network announced that a new animated short-form series called "Story Time" which premiered on Sunday immediately following "Survivor Series". Here's the description from the press release: "Story Time paints an animated picture of some of the most entertaining stories in WWE, as recounted by the Superstars and Legends who lived them. As history is retold with imagination and illustration, these tales that took place behind the scenes and beyond the ring are finally revealed and brought to life. Sunday’s episode will take a trip down memory lane with stories from Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Ron Simmons, Ric Flair, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts as they recall life on the road."

Jake Roberts posted on Twitter on Sunday that he had lost his WWE Hall of Fame ring and even offered a reward for its return. He tweeted on Monday "HOF ring was found!! #thankYOU #Grateful #bestfansintheworld #trustme'.

NWA President Bruce Tharpe gave a plaque to Jose Lothario to induct him into the NWA Hall of Fame for the 2017 class.

Indo-Canadian newspaper the South Asian Observer recently ran a story profiling five Sikh wrestlers from Canada: Tiger Jeet Singh, Gama Singh/Great Gama, Tiger Ali Singh, Paul Singh Dhaliwal (the first wrestler of Sikh origin), and Jinder Mahal. Honorable mention was given to Rhonda Singh/Bertha Faye.
