JR's Blog: Tuesday Blog, HUGE Ross Report w/ Goldberg and The Kat, RAW Thoughts, Kudos to Foley, Cowboy would love Sheamus/Cesaro

Greetings one and all and thanks for stopping by our site. In the midst of a busy week, so let's stop burning daylight...

A new, Ross Report podcast drops later today at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT on www.podcastone.com, iTunes and here on the homepage of our site. I will welcome two great guests to the show including Bill Goldberg who is in training for what he and most others expect to be a one on one match at Survivor Series with Brock Lesnar.

Bill and I discuss how he felt in Denver at RAW a week or so ago, the impact that night had on his wife and 10 year old son, Bill's on going training regime, who he is training with and how, balancing his diet with his training and why he is in his opinion the best cardio shape that he's been in years and even better than his WCW run and his time in the NFL.

What price will Goldberg pay to see this match with Lesnar through, what are the personal and professional risks for the 49 year old who has a thirst to compete one more time on the highest level that he can attain within the genre of pro wresting/sports entertainment.

I packed the questions in this explosive, revealing interview about a match that hasn't been made official yet but we talked as if the bout would be inked officially at some point soon.

Stacey Carter aka The Kat is a great first time guest who discusses her relationship with The King, her foray into the WWE and her experiences in the Attitude Era where the product was TV14 and edgy. She talked going topless on WWE TV and the risky nature of some of the vignettes, etc that she appeared in for WWE during that period of the 'Wild West.'

Stacey and I talk about how Charles Barkley came to pay for her wedding to the King in Vegas that my wife Jan and I attended.

Subscribe for free to our show at iTunes and never miss a show as they will be automatically downloaded into the device of your choice every Tuesday night when new show drops.

RAW Thoughts:

Loved the Mick Foley promo and one could see how hard Mick was trying to connect with the audience and how passionate he was about what he was saying about the two women in the HIAC Bout this Sunday on the WWE Network. Nice job, Mick!

Sheamus and Cesaro are a proven formula for a successful tag team based on what I experienced and observed in the best of the territory days of pro wrestling. In other words, the Big Cowboy would have loved them. That's generally good enough for me.

Enjoy that Chris Jericho continues to reinvent himself in the simplest of manners so effectively (clipboard) but it also makes one wonder why other talents, many much younger than Y2J, don't appear to be as 'hungry' as the 40+ year old veteran.

Strowman has momentum...no reason to slow it down with inconclusive match endings IMO.

I needed more from Heyman and Lesnar as it relates to accepting Goldberg's challenge or not. Agree already!

The pro- Lesnar crowd in Minny was no surprise as Brock's one of the biggest mainstream sports stars in the recent history of the Twin Cities.

WWE is doing all that they can to shine ample spotlight on Seth Rollins as indicated by how the three hour show ended in Minneapolis.

But..... I still think that Jericho vs Owens will be hard to top in today's climate on RAW or elsewhere in WWE.

Back to prep work for our huge, tv taping next week in Manchester for ITV. Cheers!!
