NEWS
Bill Goldberg appeared on ESPN’s "SportsCenter" during the "Off The Top Rope" segment with Jonathan Coachman to talk about the WWE 2K17 video game as well as a potential return to the ring. Goldberg said it’s a big decision and he is going to talk to his family to figure out what he wants to do. He expressed his appreciation of all the fans that supported him throughout his career both in WCW and WWE. Goldberg, now 49 years old, said that he’s not like Ric Flair where Flair, at 49, would still go out and do his character. “I don’t know what the odds are,” he said, referring to himself being nearly 50 and doing what Goldberg used to do back in the day. “But if anyone can do it, it would be me.” He teased that he would need until the end of the year to decide, mentioning that his 10-year-old boy and his wife never saw him wrestle so it’s a big motivation for him to consider returning inside a WWE ring. Goldberg added that since he left in 2004 he did not have a word with Vince McMahon. “At the end of the day, I'm sure that he and I will speak sometime soon. I owe him a thankful handshake for giving me the ability to do this,” he said. When asked who would be on the top of his list if he decides to return, the answer was pretty much what everyone already knows. "I would be remiss in saying I don't owe Brock Lesnar a rematch. I was able to prosper and have my hand raised at the first meeting, and I think if I ever came back, that'd be the match. I would have to work my ass off to get ready for him, but you never say never. I've said it for 12 years.” Goldberg described Brock as “not even a human being” and as a “superhero alien guy” for his physique, strength, and agility. “But I don't know, man, I beat him once."

On last night's "WWE Monday Night RAW", Paul Heyman challenged Bill Goldberg to a fight with Brock Lesnar, any time, any place. Goldberg immediately tweeted the following, confirming he’ll be on next week’s episode of RAW "Booking my flight to answer that big mouth @HeymanHustle 's challenge next week in person on #MondayNightRaw #WhosNext? #seeyathere @WWE".

In response to critical comments Bret Hart made about The Freedbirds being included in the WWE Hall of Fame, Michael Hayes tweeted: “Just read something where BRET put the Birds down, say what U want about me, when U talk about Terry and Buddy, who aren't here, PROBLEM! Just to clarify, drunk yes, drew more money in MANY places YES, popped Mid South, Atl, Texas to record crowds!! U leave Terry/Buddy alone!! It is really sad when a legend was so blessed with a great career, resorts to crapping on others, U'd NEVER say that to Terry or Bud's face!”

Gail Kim vacated the TNA Knockouts Title due to a minor back injury. Rosemary defeated Jade for the vacant title in a Six Sides of Steel Match at TNA's "Impact Wrestling" television tapings on October 9th though that match probably won't air until early December. No word on when TNA will announce or recognize Kim vacating the title.

A rep for Halle Berry told TMZ.com that the Academy Award winning actress never had sex with Ric Flair despite what Flair said on his latest podcast. "There is NO truth to this! Halle has literally never even heard of him let alone met him,” the rep said. Berry was described as being “deeply offended” by Flair’s remarks. Flair said that Berry was one of the dozens of celebrities who “rode Space Mountain” years ago in Atlanta after she divorced David Justice. "A man doesn't get to sexualize and lie about a woman he's never met to better himself or his name. It's offensive, demeaning and beyond misogynistic,” the rep told TMZ.com. Flair said that he doesn’t need to lie or make up a story when pressed during the show if the story was real.

Here is a quick observation of wrestlers at "New York Comic Con". Road Warrior Animal, Jerry Lawler, Jim Duggan, Ted DiBiase, and Jimmy Hart all had tables for autographs, memorabilia, etc. Hart and DiBiase were together and had the Million Dollar Belt. Animal was selling shirts and had his makeup on but not his shoulder pads. Duggan was taking pics with fans with the 2x4. Everyone looked rather healthy. DiBiase appears to have lost weight and Duggan's hair is a bit shorter, though he still had a small ponytail.

C. M. Punk was at the "New York Comic Con" as a moderator in the Marvel Comics panel. He said he had put on 30 pounds since his UFC fight. Sting was also there unadvertised promoting the new WWE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. Also there were Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Road Warrior Animal, Jim Duggan, Jimmy Hart, Ted DiBiase, and Jerry Lawler among many others. DiBiase has lost some weight according to reports.
