JR's Blog: JR To Baltimore Friday Night & Saturday, @AdamColePro on new Ross Report Podcast Tuesday Night, Cruiserweight Expectations, JR Toronto Bound!

This is the third blog that I've posted this week and it's only Tuesday so please check them out here on the site as I think that you will enjoy them. I've also tried to keep the Q&S's here updated as well. Service with a smile, well sort of, and the price is certainly right.

Ring of Honor Champion Adam Cole is my guest on this week's The Ross Report podcast that drops every Tuesday night at 9 PM ET on @iTunes, where you can subscribe for FREE, and at www.podcastone.com. @AdamColePro is a terrific guest and a credit to the biz. You will enjoy his contributions to this week's podcast and his discussion regarding ROH, WWE, ROH Alums, CM Punk, and wrestling Mike Elgin at the next ROH PPV on Friday September 30 on the @FITETV App.

Here on the homepage of this site check out the new, updated schedule of The Ross Report Podcast guests that we've just posted. Business continues to pick up on our show and the numbers that we are earning prove it. I cant thank you all enough for making our weekly show such a success.

RAW Thoughts from Monday Night:

The one thing that I got our of watching RAW via my DVR was that I'm curious to see what happens going forward with the "Shield" talents. Not sure that's what I'm supposed to be thinking.

Hmm...fans chanting "DELETE" during Roman Reigns entrance created the biggest wresting, TV audience to hear the "DELETE" business.

There are elements of Seth Rollins TV persona continues to remind me at time of the great Shawn Michaels. WWE seems to be setting Rollins up to be their top fan favorite on RAW. Will be interesting to see what new, wrinkles Seth adds ot his repertoire in teh near future.

With that said, the Rollins vs Kevin Owens match this Sunday at the Clash of Champions on the WWE Network should be a strong show closer. No reason that it can't be and I hope that we get a great finish.

Cruiserweight match was fun to watch but the four way felt somewhat predictable but was a good production. I hope that these newly arriving talents get all the creative love that they deserve and can be facilitated to mean all that they can. This grouping of athletic performers is a breath of fresh air on WWE's three hour, flagship broadcast.

Suggestion: The Cruiserweights must speak on TV. Today's TV audience will be challenged to emotionally invest if they can't hear the talents speak about their career, their matches, being champion, etc.

In hindsight, I'd have suggested to expose the new Cruiserweight Champion on TV before determining his #1 contender. Not a huge matter either way but I did not leave RAW thinking that the Cruiserweights were as special as I had hoped.

I'd love to see the Cruiserweights booked with the same credibility as the Women and perhaps they will in the future.

Are my expectations regarding the Cruiserweights too lofty? If so, that's on me.

BTW, did I ever mention that winning a steel cage match via escape is not a compelling ending to a former, big time match that has quietly become somewhat neutered via overexposure and trying to produce a PG bout in a R rated structure. No, this is not a call for blood. Just better execution.

Looking forward to being in Baltimore this weekend starting out Friday night with Jim Cornette at Jimmy's Famous Seafood where we will present RINGSIDE! Show time is 8 pm there. Saturday in Joppa at MCW Arena it's their first ever legends reunion from 10 am until 4 pm.
