Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by our site. Really big week here as we do podcast production tonight and then travel to Cancun, Mexico for CBS Sports Network boxing Saturday night. Please check our local listings and plan on joining us. This week's The Ross Report podcast will feature Terri Runnels who will discuss her career in WCW as Alexandra York and how that persona was created, her run in WWE as Marlena w/ then husband Goldust during the Attitude Era, her personal relationships along the way and much more. BTW, Our part two show with Eric Bischoff has been a hit and we thank everyone who has listened to this show. If you haven't sampled the two parter with EB, I certainly encourage you to do so.

OklaMania in OKC was a hit as we had a full house of approximately 1,000 fans in the OKC Cox Convention Center Sunday night. The card was based on old, school fundamentally sound pro wrestling as we used time limits, kept the action inside the ring, and did our best to book competitive bouts that seemed to entertain the fans which should always be the goal of any promotion. The IWR staff and talents are great to work with and I look forward to doing more projects with them in the future. The bouts were taped and voiced over on site as I'm told that a DVD and perhaps even a spot on the FITE TV App at some point down the road. may happen.

Sting was a total pro to work with and was the centerpiece of OklaMania for sure. Sting's interaction with Abyss and Jim Cornette was a great way to start our Saturday night event. So many talents including the Hardy Brothers who had a terrific bout that closed the show on Sunday night versus War Machine who were managed by Jim Cornette who once again proved that he is still one of the greatest managers in pro wrestling. Enjoyed the card from start to finish including the Roderick Strong vs Dalton Castle bout, Chavo Guerrero's in ring work was stellar, EC3 vs Moose was strong, and the show stealer for me was an fantastic bout between Jerry Lawler vs Jeff Jarrett who was accompanied by his talented wife Karen Jarrett. King and Double J put on a clinic that the other talents in attendance learned a ton from without question. the backstage monitor was "sold out" without question.

My sincere thanks to all who participated in this inaugural, OklaMania event especially all the fans who joined us.

This weekend I also recorded conversations with Ricky Morton, Chavo Guerrero, Bull Dempsey, and Matt Sydal for future Ross Report Podcasts. Great stuff from these men. Stay tuned for these podcast features.

Tonight I am catching up with ROH Champ Jay Lethal for a Ross Report focusing largely on the the ROH PPV in August from Las Vegas.

Nothing new on the Brock Lesnar drug test failure until the B sample is tested and the results are returned and subsequently made public. If the B sample test is negative, I'm under the impression that the matter will be dropped but many insiders are not optimistic that the B sample will be any different than the original test sample.

I'm still amazed that this matter even happened considering that it is illegal and the huge amount of money that a fine/suspension could likely cost Lesnar who made well north of seven figures for UFC 200.

WWE will hold their Draft Tuesday night on the first live broadcast of Smackdown Live on the USA Network and there's already predictable, second guessing from many after they read the rules and the Draft format. This is simply the way of the world on many things especially considering that there is so much info online available for fans to digest and then to regurgitate said info with their own assumptions.

This speculation cements the thoughts that I have made that no matter how the Draft turns out and no matter who is Drafted where that many fans wil pan the process even though it can't be intelligently judged as to it's long term success for months. I've suggested that the jury will be out until Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando when we see the main event that the separated brand will produce for the biggest pro wrestling event in the business.

This Friday night CBS Sports Network will air our Cancun boxing event that we taped in June. This is a helluva fight card that Boxing HOFers Al Bernstein and Jimmy Lennon, Jr and I broadcast from the Mexican paradise. This fight card airs this Friday night at 9:30 pm ET/6:30 pm PT plus CBS Sports Network wil replay this exciting card at 11 pm ET/ 8 PM PT on Saturday night July 23.

The Q&A's here on the site are updated.
