NEWS
Ring of Honor recently announced that beginning on December 2nd they will air nationally on the COMET television channel. COMET is a new joint venture between MGM and Sinclair Television Group, the parent company for Ring of Honor. At this time, the only 2 Oklahoma channels that are COMET affiliates are KOCB in Oklahoma City and KTUL in Tulsa. These channels have been carrying Ring of Honor programming for quite some time. Ring of Honor's 26 week deal signed with Destination America is set to expire. They will air the final episode on Destination America on November 25th.

Internet Marketing Ninjas announced last week that they are teaming with WWE Hall of Famer ?Hacksaw? Jim Duggan for a fan-engaged event on Sunday, November 22nd at 8pm Eastern as the "WWE Survivor Series" pay-per-view kicks off. The event will be streamed on their YouTube page. Full details can be found on their website by clicking here.

As seen on last night?s WWE RAW, Paige and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte ended the show with a brawl after Paige used Charlotte?s late brother Reid to take a shot at her. Charlotte?s mother Elizabeth Fleihr took to Twitter and posted "@WWE @StephMcMahon @VinceMcMahon @TripleH WWEWriters really, that lazy! #CheapHeat #disgusting
#disrespectful #cruel #sad 😥#RawGreenville". No word yet on how Ric Flair reacted to the angle as he was not backstage at RAW last night.

After RAW went off the air, Jim Ross posted on Twitter "Congrats to both @MsCharlotteWWE & @RealPaigeWWE on closing Monday Night Raw. The go home segment! Rarified air for women."

Topps has announced a new WWE trading card series, "Undisputed", that will be released on Wednesday. It will have the most autographed cards of any previously released WWE card product, from current stars like Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks, to stars of the past like Bruno Sammartino, Bret Hart, Trish Stratus, Ric Flair, plus NXT stars like Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, and Enzo Amore, as well as Pete Rose, Lawrence Taylor, Razor Ramon, Big Bossman, Junkyard Dog, Davey Boy Smith, Curt Hennig and Jay Strongbow.

In regards to rumors of A. J. Styles possibly talking with WWE, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that no contact had been made with Styles as of November 9th. His New Japan Pro Wrestling deal expires in January.

5 Star Wrestling announced on Facebook that Rey Mysterio will not only face A. J. Styles at their upcoming event, but also be the first officially-licensed wrestler to appear in their wrestling game. The PlayStation 4 version of 5 Star Wrestling is named ReGenesis and will at least have Rey Mysterio in the game as a playable character. It will be his first video game appearance since leaving WWE.

Brad Jones of BleacherReport.com wrote a story entitled "WWE Survivor Series 2015: Most Underrated Matches in Event's History" and coming in at #1 was Los Guerreros vs. Rey Mysterio & Edge vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit (2002). Others on the list include Kane vs. Mankind (1997) at #3. You can read the entire story by clicking here.

Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Nick Bockwinkel who passed away on November 14th at the age of 80 due to some health issues. Bockwinkel began his career in 1955, after a knee injury forced the University of Oklahoma to withdraw his football scholarship. Bockwinkel was known for his exceptional technical ability and in-ring psychology. He was also known for his calm, charismatic, articulate promos, which distinguished him from many of his contemporaries. He mainly competed in the AWA where he was a four time AWA World Heavyweight Champion and co-holder of the AWA World Tag Team Championship three times, all with the late Ray "The Crippler" Stevens. His active in-ring career ended in 1987 and he worked as a road agent for WWF and was later the on-screen commissioner for WCW. In 2000 he was co-commissioner of Japan Pro Wrestling Association. He served as president of the Cauliflower Alley Club Association from 2007 until he stepped down in 2014 due to declining health. He was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in 2003 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.
