JR's Blog: Von Erich NXT Tryout, @SSBillyGraham Talks & Talks on Ross Report Podcast, @RamsHeadLive, LuchaElRey & JR, Scott Steiner, @ShawnMichaels

Only a handful of VIP Meet & Greet tickets for my first ever show in Baltimore at @RamsHeadLive on Saturday May 16 remain and are on sale at ramsheadlive.com. General Admission tickets are only $22.50 and are still plentiful and will be available the day of the event as well for as long as they last. Also, my friends at Maryland Championship Wrestling are having a huge show in Glen Burnie, MD at Michael's Eighth Avenue on Friday night April 24 highlighted by a special appearance by Ric Flair.

Our current Ross Report Podcast features @SSBillyGraham who keeps it high energy and entertaining for over two hours on iTunes and Podcastone.com. After Superstar's evangelist days he started calling everyone 'BROTHER" of which @HulkHogan assumed ownership which is why I jokingly teamed on Twitter that Billy thinks that Hulk owes Super Star "royalties." Some thought I was being serious when I teased this @JRsBBQ if you can believe that. This is a fun who to listen to and I hope you will give it a shot. Downloading is FREE as is subscribing via iTunes which means that you won't miss a show. Superstar was our 60th podcast so there are lost of great shows that you can go back and listen to for FREE if you choose. Funny story is when Billy explains how/why Hulk started using the 24 inch pythons line.

Next week @ShawnMichaels joins me on the Ross Report to talk about many things including his New York Times Best Selling book. It's another kick ass show from arguably the best all around in ring performer over the long haul in the business. In the coming weeks TNA's Bobby Roode joins me along with Mike Johnson of @PWInsidercom to break down WWE Extreme Rules.

@Iron_Sheik Movie is now airing on Netflix and I encourage one and all to check it out if you can.

I had a chance to do some work with Lucha Underground as they prepare for their season finale taping in a little over a week that will air in August but we couldn't make the date work. I'm a fan of their product, except the intergender stuff which doesn't suspend my disbelief, and would have enjoyed doing a project with them but it wasn't in the cards this time around. I wish them the best of luck nonetheless during these apparent, crunch times for their brand. I am still of the belief that their back stage content is the best in he genre.

Was asked on the Q&A section of this site if I encouraged fans to "highjack" TV wrestling shows. I encourage fans to be loud and rowdy and to cheer or boo for who they choose as long as they keep it 'clean' IE "blowjob" isn't that by the way. However when fans pick their spots, always seemingly on TV to draw attention to their insecure selves, it becomes boorish and gives the majority of wrestling fans a bad name. Luckily the "highjackers" are in the minority but do come off as embarrassing to many to their peers notwithstanding providing many within the media who dislike the genre anyway more ammo to blast away at the product that many of us embrace.

The book controversy regarding @RondaRousey book and @WalMart is embarrassing for the giant retail company. Simply go to my links at podcastone.com and use my Amazon link to order Ronda's book and have it delivered to your home and help us at the same time. This matter makes Wal Mart come off as out of touch bullies. Nonetheless, Wal Mart has likely helped make 'My Flight/Your Fight' a New York Times Best Seller when it's released on May 12.

Great video on @WWENXT Itami this week on NXT on the @WWENetwork. Strongly recommend that you check it out.

Yes, Finn Balor is ready for RAW or Smackdown but only when WWE has a long term plan for this talented Irishman. To call him up with a long term plan would be downright stupid.

For those asking, yes I made the proper inquires to WWE officials about the two sons of Kevin Von Erich getting a tryout with NXT. Nonetheless it was WWE's call to make it happen. I hope that it goes well but there is no guarantees inside the walls of NXT in Orlando.

Recorded on of the funniest podcasts that I've ever done this week with @OfficialTaz w/o a script and on the fly which will air in a few weeks. Think of a Jim Nance smoking pot while calling the Masters comedy routine plus we thoroughly discuss wrestling announcing in today's marketplace. It's not easy, folks.

Seems like more and more wrestlers are getting into the podcast biz thinking that it's "easy money" Trust me it's not and some of the late arrivals will eventually soil the sheets and not last long. Happy to say that Taz is doing well as is the top dog @steveaustinBSR.

Do you really think that Scott Steiner threatened to "kill" Hulk Hogan while standing in the San Jose Airport? Really? I call misunderstanding on that one. Money says not one charge will be filled much less stick.

WWEShop.com continues to sell JR's products at a record pace as many fans are using our products as their "go to" sauces and condiments for the grilling season. We thank you for your support @WWEShop. Many orders go out within hours of receiving your order.

We have sizes up to 5X on all the JR's tees at prowrestlingtees.com/jimross plus we ship them anywhere.

Q&A's here are updated.
