NEWS
During the "WWE Thursday Night SmackDown!" television tapings last Tuesday, WWE announced that Tatsumi Fujinami will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015 this year in San Jose, CA. The 61 year old is a former WWF International Heavyweight champion, a title which was recognized by the NWA, WWF, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Japan?s Universal Wrestling Federation. He is also a former WWF Junior Heavyweight champion, a title which was used by WWF and NJPW, with Fujunami holding the belt for a combined 1,406 days. In 1991, Fujinami won the NWA World Heavyweight title from Ric Flair at the Tokyo Dome in Japan and became the first man to hold the International Wrestling Grand Prix Heavyweight and NWA World Titles simultaneously. At WCW?s SuperBrawl 1991, Fujinami and Flair battled for two titles, as Flair held the WCW World Title and Fujinami held the NWA World Title. In that match, Flair came out victorious at the Bayfront Arena in St. Petersburg, FL, by pinning Fujinami and holding his tights. He is the seventh inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame this year with one more person to go in. Connor ?The Crusher? Michalek will also be given the Warrior Award on that night.

WWE has officially announced former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion and NWA World Champion Tatsumi Fujinami for the 2015 Hall of Fame. He will be inducted by Ric Flair. WWE also posted on Twitter "BREAKING: International legend Tatsumi Fujinami to be inducted into the #WWEHOF Class of 2015! http://t.co/8zp6Ecq1x3 pic.twitter.com/n7u7ihg8Sm."

After Tatsumi Fujinami was announced as the latest WWE Hall fo Fame inductee, William Regal posted on Twitter "Congratulations to Tatsumi Fuginami [sic] for induction into @WWE HOF.A hero of mine,a real Gentleman and the man who I had my first NJPW match. Tatsumi Fuginami [sic] also helped me develop my finishing submission. For the seven people I beat with it,blame him. Regal also posted "The only wrestlers I haven't wrestled inducted into this years #WWEHOF are the Bushwackers.I wrestled Madusa for an hour in Germany.True."

Mick Foley seemed to announce that he was inducting Kevin Nash into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, as odd as that may seem. It was reported for months that Shawn Michaels would be inducting Nash and there was no mention of Foley doing the induction until his tweet, which gave no indication that he may have been joking around. Foley wrote, ?Congratulations to @RealKevinNash as the latest member of #WWEHOF. It will be an honor to induct you. #RAW?. Foley then posted "Guess I'll work on my @KevinNash #WWEHOF induction speech. I haven't officially been asked - but, at this point, it's just a formality."

Mick Foley will not be doing a second show in San Jose, CA as he had hoped to do, because of the feeling there just wasn't enough time to promote it. His Friday show is sold out but there are tickets left for his Thursday show at the Cobb Comedy Club in San Francisco, CA.

Sting showed up on "WWE Monday Night RAW" last week to mess up the plans of The Authority as the group was about to attack Randy Orton in the middle of the ring. When the lights went out and came back up, Sting, armed with a baseball bat, appeared side by side with Randy Orton and the two cleared the ring thanks to a chair and the bat. Sting then delivered the Stinger Splash on J&J Security and then hit the Scorpion Death Drop on Jamie Noble. After Raw was over, Michael Cole interviewed the two in the ring and Orton said he doesn?t need anyone to help him out but, ?that was pretty damn cool.? Cole then went over to Sting to get his first words inside a WWE ring. ?I?ve been waiting 14 years to get inside this ring right here,? the Stinger screamed. ?And it feels smoking good by the way!? He then fired a warning to Triple H, his opponent at WrestleMania. ?And Triple H, I meant what I said when I said somebody needs to take you down and that?s exactly what I?m going to do at WrestleMania!?

WWE?s website has a new poll asking fans who are they most excited to see at WrestleMania 31, Sting or The Undertaker. With over 3,000 votes, 61% have voted for Sting.

WWE?s website has a new poll asking fans which is more iconic ? Sting?s baseball bat or Triple H?s sledgehammer. With almost 10,000 votes, 65% have voted for Sting.

It was reported that WWE had a local casting agency in San Francisco, CA working to cast Russian soldiers and scarecrows at WrestleMania 31. The soldiers are obviously for Rusev?s entrance and the scarecrows could be for Sting or Bray Wyatt, but likely Sting. It turns out the same casting agency is booking both roles and they are using the same extras for both roles as a way to save money. They are looking for males between 24 and 33 with no facial hair. The agency is paying extras $1,100 each total for the three days. Extras must be available to train on March 27th and 28th, then perform on the day of WrestleMania, March 29th. The first day will consist of costume fitting and a walk-through for four hours. They will do a late night rehearsal after the Hall of Fame on Saturday night from 11pm until 3am. They?re then required to be at Levi?s Stadium all day and evening on Sunday.

WWE has made these Fan Axxess announcements. Appearing on Thursday include Prime Time Players, Rusev, Jack Swagger, Erick Rowan, Booker T, Luke Harper and Lita. Thursday will include Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, Kane, Ryback, Jerry Lawler, Eva Marie and Scott Hall. Sunday will have Bellas, Big Show, Ted DiBiase Sr., Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, Luke Harper and Roddy Piper.

WWE?s website has an article about ?Hacksaw? Jim Duggan being inducted into the New York State High School Section 2 Wrestling Hall of Fame in Albany, NY on March 14th. DVD and Blu-ray that comes out on April 14th features Warrior?s daughter Mattigan, who is now aspiring to be a WWE Diva.
