Next week our Podcast features Melina Perez, the former WWE Divas Champion, in a very in depth interview that covers a great deal of ground in the lovely, young lady's career and life.

RAW Thoughts:

On a broadcast that was heavy on promos/talk, HeymanHustle aka Paul Heyman formerly professionally known as Paul E Dangerly and Paul E Dangerously among other thing that we cannot print here, only kidding, stole the show. Great intensity on his promo because Paul believed every word that he said and his words were just that, his words, and not those provided him by a third party. If you want to study how to craft a promo, listen to this one.

Stephanie McMahon rocked her promo segment with John Cena and she rivals Heyman, in my opinion, as the two, top talkers on RAW Monday night. Hopefully, more of the in ring talent will perfect their verbal skills sooner than later which will be a great addition to the marathon-like, three hour RAW broadcasts.

Jon Stewart also represented himself well on the mic with his interactions with Seth Rollins and, no, I don't think that Rollins being kicked in the Spaulding's by a TV host is going to retard Rollins professional growth. Lots of people are talking about Rollins & Stewart and that's not a bad thing while garnering outside the wresting box publicity heading into WrestleMania.

Obviously, RAW's highlights in my eyes were those of the verbal kind which doesn't make it a bad show but it also seems that many talents are taking their valuable RAW TV time for granted which isn't smart. RAW is a weekly PPV opportunity that gets one to the Promised Land and more Superstars need to approach those Monday night shows in that mindset. Yes, that's grabbing the brass ring which many in this generation don't seem comfortable doing.

Surprised to see AJ Lee back as I had heard online that she was injured. I consider her the most provocative, potential main eventer no matter the gender of all the talents on the main roster followed closely by Natalya.

Enjoyed HHH and Booker T's verbal sparring and could relate to Book being "fired" but unlike most of my multiple "firings" Booker T got a pardon....no pun intended.

Bravo for Curtis Axel who gave us all that he had thus maximizing his minutes. I've always had plenty of time for young athletes like Axel and sincerely hope that he gets in the game and earns playing significant and important playing time.

Hopefully, WWE will get on a roll and rocket ship it into WrestleMania coming on Sunday March 29.

Happy to see Madusa aka Alundra Blayze is going into the WWE Hall of Fame...well deserved and it recognizes a really fine athlete and physical performer. Really thought r work in WCW in the early 90's was exceptional.

Congrats to the wrestlers and staff at ROH for their energetic PPV this past Sunday. Solid effort by all and the production elements were improved plus the addition to Samoa Joe helped the cause as well. Thought the that main even had too many participants and was slightly over thought but no one can fault the effort of the men in the match. They ran the plays that were called to the best of their ability but the match was arguably too busy.

Saw Brock Lesnar while attending UFC 184 this past Saturday in LA. He caused quite the stir with UFC fans in Los Angeles and likely raised the stakes in his negotiations with WWE and, perhaps even Viacom/Bellator/Spike TV. At Brock's age and with his past medical history, I'd recommend him to re-sign with WWE, make more appearances which would make his sponsors, like Jimmy John's, by the way they make a helluva sandwich, and perhaps even allow Brock to better monetize that arrangement. More people will see Brock wrestling on RAW than will ever see him on any UFC PPV. The number of eyes on Lesnar via WWE over a 12 month period will blow away the numbers that he would garner in UFC or in Bellator. Plus, it would be safer one has to believe. My gut says that Brock would love to go back to UFC and end his MMA career on his terms but I'm beginning to wonder if that is the best, long term plan for him. I have great respect for Brock Lesnar and he was certainly one of the top two or three all time recruits e signed while I was in WWE and I'm looking at this scenario as to what's best physically for the athlete who has a young family. Nonetheless at the end of the day we all have to be happy with what we are doing for our life's work and that decision ultimately can only be made by Brock himself. I will be a fan of his work no matter where he lands.

Because many have asked, I did not speak with Brock while we were LA and was surprised to see him sitting only a short distance at ringside from where my wife and I were sitting. I did have a great time meeting and visiting with the Iceman @ChuckLiddell who hosted the UFC after party.

Good luck to my friend and a guy we signed back in the day, the amazing Rey Mysterio, who joined AAA in Mexico and who I expect to seen on future episodes of Lucha Underground that is a brand that's starting to gain traction. If used wisely, Rey can still help any brand and it seems fitting that AAA will likely be the last promotion that the future Hall of Famer will work for in his in ring career. I would book Rey in tags which helps everyone in the equation and save his one on one matches for only very special occasions.

Thanks for the visit today. Remember if you want to see my show at WrestleMania tickets are going fast but we have plenty of $20 tickets still available at ticketweb.com.
