IZW Adrenaline January 24 Review

IZW Adrenaline January 24 Review

Posted: Jan 29th 2015 By: Jacques ReBleau

Tag team turmoil in the streets of Lawton! The rivalry between the IZW tag team champions the K. C. Wolves and the #1 Contenders the Old School Studs has reached a fever pitch and has become too big to be held in by the walls of the Impact Arena. Ever since the K. C. Wolves returned to challenge the Studs we have been witness to some of the finest tag team competition IZW has ever seen. Possibly the two most well-rounded tag teams the company has ever seen, these four men stole the show at Chaotic Christmas with an amazing ladder match where the K. C. Wolves were able to capture the gold belts that hung high above the ring and again take their place at the top of the IZW tag team scene. But the Studs weren?t about to just lie down and accept defeat. They are determined to prove that they are the one and only dominant tag team in IZW. They?d get their hands on the tag team champions in singles competition and when Randy Price faced off against Luke Langley and Graham Bell took on Gary Tool.

Price looked to show off his ingenuity and aggression in his attempt to defuse the precise strikes and technical skill of Langley. Innovative offense from Price had Luke quite literally on the ropes on several occasions but Langley refused to quit. Sensing Price might end up on the losing side of this match Gary Tool grabbed one of the championship belts and jumped on the apron. Graham Bell gave chase and dropped Tool with a superkick. This left Bell alone on the apron with the belt which drew the attention of the referee away from the in-ring action. As Bell explained himself to the ref, Price wasted no time kicking Langley below the belt and rolling him up for a tainted victory.

The Studs were all smiles and confidence heading into Tools match against Graham Bell. Each of these men has had singles success in the past, Graham Bell being the 2014 Impact Player of the Year and Gary Tool being a former IZW Champion. But time was on the side of Gary Tool, whose wealth of experience cannot be overstated. Tool used power and veteran tactics to try to wear down and neutralize the speed of the smaller and more agile Bell. Toll laid all his massive frame on top of Bell as his applied a rear chin lock and looked to put Bell to sleep but Bell fought out and landed a flurry of strikes that staggered Tool. The veteran Tool rebounded, catching Bell in a Samoan Drop to stop his momentum. Tool then positioned Bell for the Sky High but Bell created separation and landed a dropkick square to the mouth of the Coach. He followed up with a handspring kick to the face and a torpedo uppercut that dropped Tool. Tool?s partner Randy Price felt things slipping fast and decided it was time for some more Old School chicanery as he pulled referee George Knight into a collision with Bell. The Studs looked to connect with the StudBuster but Bell back-flipped to his feet and dropkicked Tool into Price, sending Price to the arena floor. Bell then connected with the Graham Cracker and held Tool in position as Langley dove from the top with the double stomp to complete their Bad Moon Rising combination. A groggy George Knight crawled into position and made the three-count as the KC Wolves were able to out-wit the sly Studs.

This didn?t sit well with the former champs who quickly jumped the Wolves sending them to the ringside area but the champs continued to fight back. The fight spilled over the guardrail and into the crowd in the Impact Arena. They battled, through the fans in attendance, into the concessions and merchandise area and then right out the front door of the Impact Arena. All four men continued to brawl all around the building until IZW officials and security were finally able to separate the two teams.
There will be no separating these two teams at Violent Valentine though as they will have the ability to fight anywhere they want to, not only in the Impact Arena but anywhere within the city of Lawton. The IZW Tag Team Championships will be defended as never before when the champion K. C. Wolves take on the #1 contender Old School Studs in a Lawton Street Fight! VIP Tickets for Violent Valentine are still available but are going fast, call (580)699-7IZW and reserve your seats now and get up close and personal when the Old School Studs clash with the KC Wolves!
