NEWS
Zeb Colter posted on Twitter today and said his recovery from surgery is going well and he hopes to be back on WWE TV soon. Zeb has been out of action with an unknown injury but in the storylines he was attacked by Rusev and suffered a leg injury. Zeb posted "HELLO? @WWE UNIVERSE. HAPPY MLK DAY. MY RECOVERY IS DOING WELL. HOPE TO BE BACK ON THE FIELD SOON. THANKS FOR ALL THE MSGS. @JCLayfield".

Sting made his WWE RAW debut on last night's RAW Reunion show from Dallas, TX. Sting appeared on the big screen and came out to the stage during the main event, providing distraction and allowing John Cena to defeat Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane in a handicap match. Per the stipulation of the match, this led to Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler and Ryback being re-hired. As noted, Sting is expected to face Triple H at WrestleMania 31. An irate Triple H was at ringside for the appearance tonight and yelled for Sting after Cena won the match. Ryback posted on Twitter the following, thanking both Cena and Sting, who provided distraction for Cena to get the win over Kane, Big Show and Seth Rollins. Ryback wrote "Life is about being #Thankful and The Big Guy has never been more thankful. Thank you Sting and John Cena! Beers on The Big Guy! #FeedMeMore".

One reason Jerry Lawler was moved to SmackDown commentary was to help raise the credibility and the aura of the show so that it?s on the same level as RAW, according to PWInsider. The idea is that Lawler moving to SmackDown helps balance both shows out and gives them an ?A? level announce team. On a related note, Lawler posted on Twitter the following this morning about last Thursday?s show "Really great @WWESmackDown last Thursday with @MichaelCole & @ByronSaxton This week should be even better!"

The lineup for the VIP and Premium VIP sessions at WrestleMania Axxess were announced by WWE earlier Monday. The first VIP session at the Thursday session will have Ric Flair while the Premium VIP sessions on that same day will have Hulk Hogan and Roman Reigns. On Friday, Premium VIP ticket holders can meet John Cena and Triple H. No normal VIP sessions will be held. On Saturday, VIP ticket holders can meet Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins, all at different time slots while Premium VIP ticket holders can meet WCW legend Sting. On WrestleMania Sunday, the normal VIP session will have Bret Hart while Shawn Michaels will be on hand for the Premium VIP tickets. Talent is subject to change.

Smith Hart, of the famed Hart Family, posted how he would book WrestleMania 31 on his Facebook page. One of the matches he would book would his niece Natalya, with his brother Bret Hart in her corner, against MMA star Rhonda Rousey, with Roddy Piper in her corner. He said "Although I doubt WWE would see the benefit in utilizing a contracted UFC fighter on their grandest stage, Rousey has expressed an interest in participating in a WWE ring. She is a lifelong avid fan of WWE and a personal prot?g? of my Rowdy cousin Roddy Piper. As the self-professed leader of the Four Horsewomen, Rousey has done training with Natalya in the past and the 2 would undoubtedly have a barn burner of a match for the ages. What would really be the ultimate goal would be a tag match with Natalya & Rhonda tagging together against worthy adversaries. Unfortunately I couldn?t find any such worthy adversaries, so perhaps the internet audience can suggest some possible ideas of capable divas to challenge the Diva Dream Team." He also would book Sting vs. The Undertaker saying "Although the smart money would be on seeing Sting vs, Triple H at Wrestlemania this year, Sting vs. Undertaker is the match fans globally have clamoured to see for nearly 20 years. If Undertaker is at all physically capable of working at this stage of his life, the WWE owes it to their fan base to allow them to see this once and for all. Triple H vs. Sting is a match that in my personal opinion only benefits Triple H and without sight into WWE?s layout plan, seems like a SummerSlam match at best." Former WWE stars Vito Lograsso (AKA Big Vito) and Evan Singleton (AKA Adam Mercer in developmental) have filed a class-action ?concussion lawsuit? against WWE in the state of Pennsylvania. They are being represented by the same lawyer as Billy Jack Haynes, who also has a lawsuit out against WWE. The complaints from Haynes and Lograsso and Singleton appear to be virtually identical except for short paragraphs about the complaints. Singleton?s complaint mentions wrestling current WWE Superstar Erick Rowan in developmental as Singleton claims, ?After approximately 15 matches, during which he sustained multiple traumas, he suffered a serious head injury during a match with Eric Rowen [sic]. The WWE cleared him to continue wrestling after inadequate rest time and downplayed his injury.? Singleton was apparently out of action for five months after a match against Rowan. He then worked one more match and was released from his developmental deal. Singleton has suffered from a number of severe neurological symptoms and later found out that he had bleeding in the left hemisphere of his brain. Lograsso noted that he ?suffers from serious neurological damage, including severe headaches, memory loss, depression and anxiety, as well as deafness.? Several mainstream media outlets have picked up on the lawsuit. The lawsuit seeks unspecified economic damages and medical monitoring.

Cody Jones posted on his Facebook last week that he had completed work as an extra on an episode of "Chicago P. D." No announcement of a broadcast date for the episode has been made yet.

The Facebook page for Maximum Wrestling Alliance has had 7 new likes over the past 3 days. This is odd considering MWA's last event was November 4, 2011.

The Dallas Morning News has a story about the death of Lisa Byrd-New Andrews, the former publicist of Kevin Von Erich and his sons. She was found in the trunk of her car in a strange neighborhood, but her death hasn't been ruled a homicide (or anything else) as of yet because the autopsy was inconclusive. Obviously, with how her body was found, something unseemly went on with her death, but they just don't know much yet. The article is really oddly written to the point that some people may come away with the implication Von Erich was somehow involved, but only because he was shoehorned into the story in a really awkward way. You can read the story by clicking here.

Erik Beaston of BleacherReport.com wrote a story entitled "WWE Royal Rumble 2015: Most Underwhelming Superstars in History of Battle Royal" and among those listed was Saba Simba, Doug Gilbert (son of Tommy Gilbert and brother of Eddie Gilbert), Dory Funk, Jr., and The Announcers (Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, & Booker T). Erik Beaston also wrote "WWE Royal Rumble 2015: Most Shocking Eliminations in Battle Royal History" and coming in at #1 was The Undertaker (2002). Others on the list include The Ultimate Warrior (1990) at #10. To read the entire story, click here.

Ryan Dilbert of BleacherReport.com wrote a story entitled "The 7 Worst Contract Signings in WWE History" and coming in at #1 was Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler (2011). One of the two listed as Honorable Mention was Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan (1990). To read the entire story, click here.
