El Rey is channel 184 on Cox Cable in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, and channel 341 on DirecTV. At this time, El Rey does not air on AT&T U-Verse or Dish Network. Check local listings for times and channels in your area.

In a recent interview, "Title Match Wrestling" talked with former WWE star Barry Darsow, who appeared as The Repo Man and Smash of Demolition, among other gimmicks. Darsow says Vince McMahon was trying to get away from the painted face gimmicks of Demolition and Darsow wanted to keep a job so he came up with The Repo Man gimmick. Darsow, who really repossessed cars, wanted the character to do things for kids and be a babyface but that never happened. This led to Darsow leaving the company. After Sunday's "Hell In a Cell" pay-per-view, Mick Foley posted on Facebook "THINK OF THE PROMOS! Don?t let the bizarre ending to #HellInACell get you down. It was a great PPV?and just think of the promos! I think this is the type of thing that will bring out the best in both men."

A good sign on how WWE officials feel about NXT star Sami Zayn is how he was used to close last week?s live event in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Earlier in the night, Zayn lost to NXT Champion Adrian Neville but got a huge pop and ?Ole!? chants. Zayn was allowed to cut a promo about Montreal and while he lost the match, Neville was booed the whole time. The big moment came when WWE had him run out after the main event. There was a big brawl where heels attacked babyfaces until Sami ran out and helped clear the ring. The show ended with his theme song playing and the crowd chanting ?Ole!? Sami closing an event in his hometown is seen as a big deal. The former El Generico reportedly has a big supporter in WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson.

Jeff Jarrett was in Baltimore, MD on Wednesday for a meeting with Joe Koff of Ring of Honor. The meeting concerned ROH talent appearing at the New Japan Tokyo Dome show, since ROH contracts don't allow talent to appear on iPPV or PPV shows from other companies. The other subject talked about regarded the potential of ROH promoting the Tokyo Dome show on its television in the month of December.

Terry Funk and Mil Mascaras won?t be wrestling each other in a singles match this December in Tokyo, Japan after all. Instead, the main event of the December 11th show at Korakuen Hall will be Funk, Mascaras, and Masakatsu Funaki vs. Yoshihiro Takayama, Kaz Hayashi, and Nosawa.

Funeral services for Ox Baker will be November 2nd at 1:30pm at Holy Cross Cemetery in Danielson, CT. That night at 6pm, there will be a festive remembrance memorial for Ox at Wild Bill's Funhouse in Middletown, CT. Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Johnny Angel, who passed away on October 21st at the age of 55. Angel was only active as a wrestler and a manager from 1983 - 1988, but in that time, he captured the NWA Arkansas Championship 3 times, retiring as champion after winning a battle royal in Grove, OK. Angel, whose real name was Johnny Lee Clary, was perhaps more famous for his out-of-the-ring exploits, as he was a former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan and former Grand Dragon of the Oklahoma arm of the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. After leaving the Klan, Angel spent most of the latter years of his life as a civil rights activist and evangelical speaker, using his real name.
