Beautiful day in Oklahoma and hopefully where ever you are as well. This week's Ross Report Podcast that can be heard at podcastone.com and on iTunes features @RobSchamberger and @itsBrianShields in a double header featuring two great fans who are also amazing artists in their own fields. See how a fan can turn their passion into a career without ever stepping into a ring. You'll like this show from @PodcastOne. Let's grill.....

Next Tuesday night at 9 pm eastern time is the long awaited podcast with @MarkMaddenX the former outspoken, bombastic color commentator at WCW who is now the King of Pittsburgh radio and one of the brightest minds who's armed with one of the sharpest tongues you will ever hear. This is a super sized episode of the Ross Report that will have many within the business talking thanks to the "Super Genius."

If you subscribe to the Ross Report podcast for FREE on iTunes you won't miss a show, can go back and listen to some of our past shows that many rave about and it helps us greatly with our rankings within the podcast world.

Jeff Jarrett will be on our show December 16 and we will review WWE's TLC PPV event together. We will also talk about Jeff's plans for the future and the many wrestling projects that he has his hands around. This should be a good show as Jeff and I haven't personally spoken to each other since he left WWE for WCW years ago. Even though Jeff and I parted ways acrimoniously back in the day, I refuse to hold a grudge or to live in a world where I carry 'hate' and anger with me. Jeff knows that I wish him the best in anything that he does and I think that this podcast will reveal that we can civilly discuss the past and the future with professionalism and class of which the wrestling biz isn't always long on.

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net will join me for the October 28 show and we will review WWE's Hell in a Cell PPV from Dallas that occurs on October 26. Jason is another bright mind who has a well respected website http://www.prowrestling.net.

Speaking of Hell in a Cell, I wrote another piece for FoxSports.com that will be published next week about the most memorable HIAC match of all time which occurred 16 years ago in Pittsburgh featuring The Undertaker vs. Mick Foley. No HIAC match will ever top that one which is likely a good thing for the competitors (and their loved ones) that are caged within Satan's Structure.

Some will debate that the first HIAC featuring 'Taker vs. the incomparable @ShawnMichaels has been topped by only Taker vs. Foley. It's a subjective thing but the first HIAC was a damned great match that I loved calling.

Doing HIAC matches in a PG environment are challenging and more stunts are needed to add to the uniqueness of the match with blood no longer being an option.

That brings up an interesting topic...should WWE re-evaluate some of their more brutal matches that aren't as effective in a PG landscape and replace them with matches that are more PG friendly? Or is that not necessary?

Good to hear OU head football coach Bob Stoops mention on his TV show enjoying grilled salmon seasoned with JR's Main Event Mustard, Jalapeno Honey Mustard, that one adds to the salmon about 2-3 minutes before you plate it.

Strongly suggest that you read the Paul O'Brien novels 'Blood Red Turns Dollar Green' series as they are amazing novels that embrace the pro wrestling biz amazingly and accurately and will take you on a Slobber Knocker of a ride. Visit paulobrien.info for more details on how to acquire these must read novels.

Thursday I'm going into a Norman recording studio to record some content for the ESPN @BillSimmons' NBA show. I'm happy that Bill is out of the ESPN woodshed.

I think my appearance with @sonnench aka Chael Sonnen on his new @PodcastOne podcast will air next week but I will let you know. Chael is going to kill it in Podcast-land.

Looking forward to seeing my old broadcasting pal Bill Rosinski and his wife Jane Saturday in Norman as Bill will handle the play by play for ESPN radio of the Oklahoma vs. K-State Big 12 football showdown. If you are a gambler, take the Wildcats and the points but I see OU winning this crucial game that kicks off on ESPN at noon eastern/11 Okie time. The line opened at KSU +12 and is now down to KSU +7.5.

I also like TCU -9 at home versus Oklahoma State.
