Song composer James Papa?s lawsuit against WWE was settled back on July 25th. The US District Court, Northern District of Texas is requiring both parties to file their agreement with the court by August 29th so the lawsuit can be officially closed. Papa will be releasing a documentary later this year about the creation of The Fabulous Freebirds? legendary ?Badstreet USA? theme song.

There was talk at RAW that Ric Flair may be booked for tonight?s WWE SmackDown tapings from Ontario, CA but that?s not confirmed.

There has been no mention of Zeb Colter being dropped from the storylines with Jack Swagger but it?s worth noting he was kept off both RAW and SmackDown last week to sell the kick from Rusev at "SummerSlam".

Jim Ross wrote that he texted Vince McMahon on Vince's birthday (Vince turned 69 Sunday) and Vince told him he did a 500 pound squat Sunday.

Mick Foley posted on Twitter "I really don?t care if he works 20 days a month or just 1 ? @BrockLesnar, with @HeymanHustle is a compelling, terrifying @WWE champion #RAW".

C.M. Punk tweeted to Ben Saunders about his uma plata submission on Saturday's UFC show in Tulsa, the first of its kind in UFC history. Saunders acted like getting a tweet from Punk was a bigger deal than winning, noting he was a big fan of Punk and "It was an absolute honor to get attention from him." He even said he'd like to get a win with the Anaconda Vise his next time out.

Former pro wrestler Ted Arcidi had a small role in Sunday night's TV show "Leftovers" as a tow truck driver on the screen for a few seconds.

There will be a two-day tournament in Calgary, Alberta, Canada called "X-Fest 2014" at Fort Calgary, called the "Bret Hart Invitational". The winner of the tournament will be presented with the Stu Hart championship belt. The first names announced are James Storm, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and Raj Singh (formerly Jinder Mahal). Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart will both be there presenting the Stu Hart belt to the tournament winner. X-Fest is a Calgary Alternative Music Festival.

Jim Cornette was announced as a Global Ambassador for the Insane Hardcore Wrestling Entertainment group out of the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. He will work as a consultant with the group and make appearances at live shows, or on videotape at shows.

Goldberg will be an upcoming guest on Jesse Ventura's podcast "We The People". Ventura posted on Twitter "Who's next? Legendary wrestling champ Bill @Goldberg - what questions do you have for him?"

The Kickstarter campaign for Kamala?s book began last week and has already raised over $8,000 of their $12,000 goal. 149 backers have contributed with 23 days to go.
